I have an 8 year old 3ooM , 23,000 miles with the original factory
provided Goodyear tires. Plenty of tread left. Should I replace the
tires strictly because they are 8 years old ?

Mystery Horn29 Apr 2008 03:35 GMT1
My beloved 01 PT Cruiser Limited has started to blow its horn without any
action on my part. Not very often mind you but not good. Is it the clock
spring or some other part I should look for?
Conclusion:  Exhaust leak '00 300M (cause, and remedy)26 Apr 2008 02:01 GMT5
Over the past few months my 2000 300m developed an exhaust bark that
sounded like it was coming from the front or center of the car, not
the rear.
A visual inspection on a hoist (Midas) indicated that the first

When to replace radiator and heater hoses25 Apr 2008 08:50 GMT18
The hoses on my 1993 Plymouth Grand Voyager are still the original.
There are no cracks, and don't feel *mushy.*
Should I replace them as a precaution? It has been 15 years / 99,000
miles on these hoses.
ATF+4 in older transmissions24 Apr 2008 03:15 GMT6
I need to change the fluid on my 1998 Dodge Stratus. When I went to
Walmart to buy the fluid, they only had Mopar ATF+4.
If I remember correctly, the TSB said that ATF+4 could be used as a
replacement to ATF+3, except for 1999 and before mini-vans.
PT Air Filter as clean as new????23 Apr 2008 07:53 GMT13
A while back I posted that my PT mileage has drastically dropped from
about 15 mpg down to 12.
The spark plugs had been replaced less than 1000 miles ago. Someone
said to disconnect the battery to allow the computer to reset itself. I

96 Gd. Caravan A/C Noise?22 Apr 2008 03:48 GMT3
Has anyone had their AC compressor go bad on these vans? Just using
the AC after recharging (got low over winter), as I've done before.
But, now when the AC is turned on, the compressor makes a grinding
noise that sounds like the bearings, or something like that. I've
What's happened to this NG?22 Apr 2008 01:53 GMT7
Looks like lots of *unrelated* posts are now showing up on this NG.
I have been using this NG since the early 1990's, and the shared
information has been invaluable.
Is there another forum for Chrysler products that doesn't have all the
97 sebring coupe 2.5 v620 Apr 2008 20:03 GMT2
Looking for the NVLD switch location.  Have a p0441 code and a smoke machine
couldn't find any leaks in the hoses so im assuming its a NVLD switch or
pehaps the purge solenoid.
Thanks in advance....
Detailing your Chrysler - What products do you use ?20 Apr 2008 13:36 GMT2
I have always used Meguiar's car car products on my cars, but lately
have been thinking about switching to one of the specialty brands such
as Sonus, Pinnacle, Adams, Klasse, or Wolfgang.
Anyone ever use any of these high end products?  Results? Comments?

I have the 4 speed auto and when I shift it into any gear it does not go
