Why no return on R134 after seven days?29 Jul 2009 21:37 GMT2
I bought a case of twelve - 12 oz. cans of R134 Refrigerant at Sam's
Club.
It states on the receipt, "Attention: Refunds on R-134 R are not
allowed after 7 days of purchase date."
HOAT Antifreeze28 Jul 2009 21:57 GMT6
Many newer Chryslers now use this HOAT antifreeze.
Peak has an antifreeze that is supposed to be able to top off HOAT, or
any other kind.
If this true, or will it turn out to be like Chrysler transmission
Unknown transmission leak28 Jul 2009 04:54 GMT1
When my hood damn near blew off last month I parked it to fix it and
noticed a good sized transmission leak underneath the car. I couldn't
find where it originated from and still haven't. I finally got the car
put back together today and drove it for a little to see if it would
No brake pad wear sensor?26 Jul 2009 22:20 GMT8
I heard a scrunching sound coming from the front wheel wells of my
2004 Chrysler Pacifica.
I took off the brake pads to look to see how much life remained and to
determine if this was the source of the noise.

Slow AC evaporator leak '96 LHS25 Jul 2009 01:55 GMT15
'96 Chrysler LHS - California rules.
Problem:  very slow AC refrigerant leak;  works satisfactorily for 6-8
weeks before needing recharge.  Testing under the hood is negative to
electronic sniffer and blacklight visual inspection for dye leakage.
Speedometer stopped working on 2002 T&C23 Jul 2009 23:07 GMT3
My battery died and when I got it started with a jump I noticed the
speedometer needle went crazy and circled clockwise and now stopped
working.  Must have shorted it out I think?  All other panel gages and
indicators are working so I don't think its a fuse.  Anyone know what
A PT Thanks for the Group!22 Jul 2009 22:42 GMT2
after several weeks of head scratching-the PT overheating is solved. I
replaced the coolant sensor and it didn't quit overheating.
Then, we checked the fan motor-deader than a door nail. so, long story
short-7 bolts, 1 plug and the part was replaced in about 2 hours, along with
1997 Plymouth Van with Engine Check for Xmission22 Jul 2009 00:40 GMT17
My mechanic says I have to check engine codes regarding my xmission.
One has something to do with a clutch, and I misplaced the other.
Maybe I'll find the note in the morning. Anyway, Wouldn't such
messages be specific to some part of the xmission? That is, one would
PT Cruiser Coolant Temperature Sensor - Location, anyone?21 Jul 2009 04:41 GMT5
PT Cruiser, 2002.
Does anyone know where this Sensor is located? I have a Haynes aftermarket
booket, but the picture is NOT worth a thousand words....the picture in
their book is least to be desired...
Stearing rack leak on 300C19 Jul 2009 20:55 GMT2
I just had my 2006 300C into the dealer for a brake job (41K Miles, 4
years old). They told me that I have a leak in the steering rack. I don't
have any symptoms, the steering has been fine. They've ordered a new rack
for me, the plan is to replace it next week. I was wondering ...

Gas Tank Overflow - 2005 Jeep Liberty18 Jul 2009 20:12 GMT2
I've got a 2005 Jeep Liberty.
Whenever I fill the gas tank it has a tendency to overflow before the
nozzle shuts off. Sometimes it's a lot, sometimes a little. If I try to
judge how many gallons I'm going to need and then let up on the nozzle
