I just bought a AX 1.1 Memphis (95) with 62k on the clock. It runs well and
handles well but the gearstick feels loose. I can get the gears in OK, but
there is a lot of play in the stick.
Is this normal for this age of this model?

Have just completed the installation of a cd player into wife's V Reg Basic
Saxo. In the process have somehow made the blower heater fan stop working.
have tried all fuses no luck so would be grateful if someone has a wiring
diagram of all the electrics if they could contact me or ...

I'm picking one up this weekend, really looking forward to it. Couldn't get
a XM which was on my wish list but hey, I need a second car that can do good
mileage. This means I have got rid of all my petrol cars (except one, which
is for sale) and am running diesels. Pug 205 + ZX.

I've been keeping records and worked out I get 48MPG in my Saxo X 1.1.
Is that good? What's normal?

First the good news - I don't know if you remember but I asked about a rear
wheel bearing a few weeks ago - and low and behold I actually managed to
change it myself :), total cost ?33 for the part and about 3 hours of my

A BX 16 TGI, 157.000 KMs, for only 250 euros! The exhaust needs
replacing (the bit of pipe after the muffler is missing) but otherwise
it's in good shape.
