Have just spoken to my wife who has found that the complete front end
of our 27,000 mile 2002 C3 1.4HDi has dropped to an alarming level.  A
neighbour believes that either the shock absorbers have collapsed or
the front suspension has.  She found a plastic 'doughnut' shaped piece

After some time with a ZX 1.9D, then a Xsara 1.4 Coupe, I have decided to
try the "real" Citroen and I traded-in the Xsara (I kept the ZX) for the
New C5 1.6HDi. Since I have never had a proper Citroen before, what are
the precautions to have in mind regarding the suspension? Or ...

It's either a stupid/obvious or a sharp intake of breath problem, but....
1.5 M-Reg AX diesel churns forever (a couple of minutes) before eventually
coughing into life.
Pre-heat system seems to check out - plugs are all good and heat up OK when

Just traded my Xantia SX 1.9TD in for a C5 SX, 2.0HDI 110. Very

I`ve got a 1994 L reg Citroen ZX Pzazz, 1.9 Diesel engine, and it`s making a
weird noise.  Every now and again (not all the time, mostly when it`s damp
or raining) you can hear a regular clicking noise - very similar to the
indicator lights, but at double the frequency.  NO ...
