I've been to the garage with my ZX, I have a great engine there, they
put in a thermostat (I knew I needed one), everything ok, and then, to
my horror, the mechanic poured tap water over parts of the engine to
wash off the green radiator fluid.

I am having problems with the driver side door of my Citroen Saxo. It
intermittently takes excessive force to close seeming to just bounce
off the striker catch. The latch in the door seems to be in the
correct position and the door lines up and seems not to have dropped.

Does anyone know what the temperature rating of the thermostat that is fitted
to a 1900 td xantia is?
My temerature guage sits at 80 degrees when warmed up ad the heater is just
bearly hot. I have read that the stat should begin to open at 88 degrees c

SWMBO has complained about half the speedo lights being out so in the dark
she can only tell what speed she's doing when it's above 40mph. Is there an
easy way to get at them? The Haynes BoL is also in her car and she's gone to
work.
