2004 Dakota tach question24 Nov 2004 06:05 GMT2
Just got a 2004 Dodge Dakota 4x4 Quad Cab with the 4.7 V8, my 3rd Dakota.
This one's tachometer doesn't have a red line indicator.  Dealership is
clueless.  My 94 and 98 had them but this one doesn't.  Anyone have a 2004
that has a red line indicator on the tach?  Anyone know what ...

05 Quad Cab, 4x4 Instrument Cluster problems...23 Nov 2004 08:14 GMT2
I just picke up a new 05 Quad Cab, 4x4 Dakota on 11/15.  So far I love the
truck, with only a couple of bugs noticed so far.  Several times so far, the
center instrument cluster indicaters have gone haywire.  The Speedometer
quits moving, the Odometer quits going up, and the ABS and ...

Hi, need some advice I have a 1996 ram Diesel 4x4 automatic that has had
two tranny rebuilds and is again shifting erratically. When accelerating
it will shift up and down several times. Now I have read tons of info
about the TPS and sound like that is the problem, but it only ...
Steering wheel noise22 Nov 2004 18:14 GMT15
I can't quite figure out what is causing this.  I have a 2000 Dodge
Dakota.  If the engine is on, and I turn the steering wheel back and
forth, there is a little "whoosh" sound (for want of a better
description).  It almost sounds like the sound when someone is walking

With the transfer case shifted in 4H and the engine running, the
Carb Problem22 Nov 2004 14:15 GMT10
Same vehicle Guys 64 Travco RV. 318 with a (can you believe) 2 Barrel Carb.
It idles fine, but go to step on the gas either in park or any drive gear
and its like you just grabbed it by the throat and chocked the living ****
out of  it.  I'm not a real good carb man but can make ...

This newsgroup appears to be more recent vehicles.
I have several early 80's minivans with 2.2 and 2.6 mitsu motors. Is there
another newsgroup dedicated to my mini's or is this it?
