Road bumps trigger blower direction changes.15 Nov 2004 00:58 GMT3
I have a 2001 Dodge 1500 Quad cab. Whatever the setting I have on my
blower(direction), that is feet, front, AC etc..., if I hit a bump it
cause all the air to direct to the windshield, basically defog. This
will happen for 10 or 15 seconds and then revert back. It happens
Looks like the dumb sh.t might win....14 Nov 2004 19:06 GMT110
Nothing more to say....just dig a hole and stay in it for another 4 years.
Ram 1500 QC 2003 - Replacing Brake Light14 Nov 2004 16:53 GMT5
I *really* don't want to have to pay the dealership to replace my brake
light, but I don't have the least idea how to get the cover/lens off.
I'm pretty sure if I start prying on it I will break it...

1992 Dakota Transmission Issue14 Nov 2004 04:40 GMT2
I own a '92 Dakota with ~115K miles and has the V6 engine and an
automatic transmission in it. Lately I've noticed that when the engine
is cold the transmission has difficulty in shifting out of first gear
and into overdrive. When cold the transmission will wait until
Ping>>>Denny!!14 Nov 2004 01:36 GMT1
Snow flurries last night, thought I heard a plow at about 4AM but figured I
was dreaming. Opened the door to put the dog out, 6 friggin' inches of the
stuff. Looks like it will be a good winter for a bunch of my friends, gotta
be if it starts this early.

and also lost the procedure for overriding the fog lights in a 1998
Durango to operate when the high beam headlights are on. Can anyone
help?

Public apologies12 Nov 2004 15:45 GMT67
In the past, I have said things to some of you that have strained, if not
alienated any friendship we had or could have had. For these terrible words,
I am sorry.
I offer no excuses for I do not know why I said those things. It could have
help changing distributor cap on 96 Ram 5.9L12 Nov 2004 14:27 GMT2
I have to change the distributor cap, rotor and wires on my 96 Ram w/ a 5.9L
engine. Is there any way to get to the distributor cap w/o having to remove the
air cleaner? I removed the factory air box and went with a cold air intake. The
"hat" of the intake is not the easiest to fool ...
2000 dodge dakota intermittent rattle question12 Nov 2004 06:09 GMT1
I have one of those "funny sound" questions, and wouldn't mind
entertaining some opinions, in case they mention something I could fix
myself.  Frequently, when accelerating to about 40-50 mph (2000 rpm),
I hear a rattling sound.  It's not a screeching, high pitched rattle
Radiator Cap12 Nov 2004 06:05 GMT6
I crawled under my '03 1500 QC 4.7 to do an oil change, and found
anti-freeze all along the bottom and side of the radiator cowling.  I traced
it up to the blowoff tube coming from the overflow tank that sits atop the
radiator.  The cap is actually on the overflow tank.  When I ...
Storing truck inside or outside12 Nov 2004 06:01 GMT3
...well maybe not "storing", but I am leaving it at a hotel for almost
2 months.  I have a choice between parking (1) under a covering
("upper deck" of hotel parking deck or (2) outside.  I've always left
my truck outside on my 4-6 week trips, through snowstorms, etc., and
