Poor handling Hemi needs help04 Nov 2004 03:36 GMT41
I just purchased an '03 3/4 ton with the Hemi in it. Of the three
trucks I have owned over the years, this one handles the worst around
corners and over wet pavement. Heck, it's so bad that I don't dare go
over 60 around a certain broad sweeping freeway curve I used to take
Odd Dodge truck03 Nov 2004 17:34 GMT7
Can anyone ID the Dodge truck in this picture? I scanned it from a tire sale
advertisement that came in the mail. It looks like the Mexican Ramcharger,
but it's a 4-door.

MPG '04 diesel 250003 Nov 2004 17:06 GMT9
I know this topic has been discussed, but I missed some of the posts. I have
2500 diesel with an 8' bed. I am only getting 14.5 MPG. I don't have the bed
covered and no added computer equipment. Would like to know what others are
getting.
Fuel pressure gauge03 Nov 2004 11:13 GMT2
I was wondering if a oil pressure gauge could used to monitor the fuel
pressure on my Ram2500 1994 diesel.
Also, what part and procedure to install a onboard fuel pressure gauge?
Thanks;
1982 Dodge p/u D350 one ton03 Nov 2004 09:54 GMT1
I'm pulling my hair out. The running lights are now not working. They did no
don't. I checked fuses some wires. I even took the dash apart and removed
the headlight switch. I notice one terminal was burnt and the plug to that
had a hole melted in the side. I bought a new switch, ...
94 dodge ram2500 diesel code reader03 Nov 2004 06:24 GMT3
I've posted a problem here about my ram2500 that the dealer screwed up. Any
way I went out and bought a astray code reader (very good one, helped me fix
my 98 diesel jetta). Come to find out that dodge did not release info to
allow use DIY to scan our trucks. Is there a reader you ...
89 Doge vibrates03 Nov 2004 05:02 GMT5
Here's the problem. It's an 89 4X4 with a 360. The man who owns it had
the tranny replaced, and he tells me the tranny came out of
something/another truck that was equiped with a 318. The truck
vibrates and shifts late. I found the vacum line off of the modulator,
how often to flush cooling system02 Nov 2004 09:08 GMT14
I have about 80000 miles on my dakota, but haven't driven much in the
past few years.  I got a cooling system flush about 2 years ago, but
only drove between about 10000 or 12000 since then.  The manual says
to do it every 2 years (or X number of miles...I think it says about
Please Help With Question on Timing for '72 D300. Dwell and Timing Setting.02 Nov 2004 07:13 GMT4
I have a 1972 motor home built on a D300 chasis. I had to change the
distributor and my manual says for timing and dwell to use the info
from the engine decal. Naturally the decal is long gone if it ever
existed. Also the vacuum advance hose, should it go to the carb
04 Hemi sounds like a diiesel.02 Nov 2004 06:28 GMT2
I have a new 1500 with the Hemi and at idle it sounds like a diesel, not
sure if it is the lifters or something else. Has anyone else with a new Hemi
noticed this noise. I have less than 1200 miles on the truck and if it isn't
a normal sound for a new Hemi then I guess I am about ...
High Wind = Electrical Funniness02 Nov 2004 03:18 GMT4
This has happened twice now...  While driving my '98 24 valve in
extreme high wind areas, something funny happens with the electrical
system.  My speedometer flakes out and starts bouncing all over the
place (obviously disrupting the cruise control), and the brake and ABS
95 2500 Diesel with the "Dodge Click" from Starter01 Nov 2004 23:59 GMT4
I did some back searching and found a few old articles on this topic
but need some more detailed info.  I get the "Dodge Click" when I turn
the key switch over and nothing happens.  I wait a bit and try again
and it will often start on the second try.  I go out and clean (wire
Weird: Message not posted in AOL newsgroup 01 Nov 2004 21:15 GMT11
This is weird.
I posted a message in alt.autos.dodge.trucks newsgroup by using AOL 9.0. It
had to do with a problem with the gauges in a 1997 Dodge Caravan.
However, when I check "alt.autos.dodge.trucks" newsgoups through AOL 9.0,  the
