| Tuning for Economy (second try)? | 26 Dec 2004 21:40 GMT | 3 |

| Transmission shift ? - 98 RAM 1500 | 26 Dec 2004 21:37 GMT | 2 |
I have a 98 Ram 1500 5.2 auto that has suddenly developed a shifting problem. Very light throttle will shift 1-2 at 2800 rpm, higher with more gas. It also downshifts early. It acts like it thinks the throttle is open 25-50% more than it is. The trans does not appear to

| Dakota V6 Fuel economy | 26 Dec 2004 20:51 GMT | 4 |
I had a 1990 Dakota V6 3.9 Club Cab Auto that I sold when it reached 200,000 miles. I then came across a cherry 1996 Dakota V6 3.9 Auto Club Cab which I bought. Although I am a very conservative driver I am getting poorer fuel mileage than I did with the 1990.

Are the wheels from a '94 Dodge Caravan (standard model) compatible with a 1989 Chysler Voyager SE? Or is there some measurement I can make to determine if it is? I am selling my old '94 wheels and a potential buyer has an '89 Voyager, but I don't know if the wheels will work for ...

| OT belt | 24 Dec 2004 22:48 GMT | 4 |
Today my wife hit a snow drift with her 99 Town and Country and knocked off the serpintine belt and packed that side of the engine with snow and ice. Of course I have no garage and it is cold and windy. What a PITA that job was. Only took 2 hours to do a 5 minute job. I did ...

| Sealing Compound to use on 1/8" engine fittings? | 23 Dec 2004 23:58 GMT | 3 |
I am installing a bunch of 1/8" NPT fittings into an engine (26 year old Onan DJE generator). I would like to make sure that no matter what, the engine oil sealed off by the fittings, does not spill. Should I use teflon tape (which is a hassle), or is there some nice
