About a month ago, I noticed that my '98 Durango was racing between second and third gear, between 3,000 and 4,000 rpm, when it should have shifted smoothly. Shifting from 1st to 2nd was fine. This problem got worse--racing before I'd back off on the pedal to let the car shift, ...

I bought a 97 Dodge Dakota about 4 months ago and had thought it was the best running truck I had ever owned. In about 3500 miles it has cranked but would not idle 2 times. You can keep it running and get to garage and it will run perfect. The check engine light does not come on. ...
