Now when I stop at a light the "check gauge" light comes on for a sec or
two. It seems to go away when I start to roll again. Loose wire, bad contact
behind dash? Anyone have any experience with this before?

2000 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins.... I haven't climbed underneath the truck

a question for anyone that might have changed their rotors themselves.
I have the shop manual and it looks like you have to remove the

99 dodge F150 Ram25 Jan 2005 20:25 GMT2
My P/U has a strange problem. When you turn on the heater  / A/C, on high,
the blower motor is blowing at high speed, but the air coming out of the
ducts fills like medium at best. Also, the heater temp is not very hot at
all. I live in North Texas so one day I need the heater and ...
Impatient truck25 Jan 2005 18:04 GMT7
Now, this is something my Dak's done since I got it.  At first I thought
it was 'user error'. There was a big gap between purchasing my previous
truck (1991) and this one (2001) so I wasn't sure if it was a technology
thing. Over time I just got used to it. But I wonder sometimes ...

I am working on a '73 Dodge Tradesman 300 (B300) one-ton van that has
been converted into a motor home.  I have noticed some play in the
steering wheel and I'm wondering if it's normal.  It has power steering.
With the engine shut off, it has about 5.5" (or about 38 degrees) of
new shocks?24 Jan 2005 20:51 GMT2
Help me if you can!
It is time to replace my shocks on my 2001 ram quad 2500 with tow and camper
packages. I bought over the shelf shocks and they feel almost as weak as the
factory shocks I am replacing. Where can I find the specs on the factory

2002 Dakota V6 37000 mi.--Started just past 36000 mi.  Having a problem with

about 700RPM.  Occasionally the idle will jump up to about 1500 then quickly
back down to about 500 before settling back to normal. ...
How to drain coolant: 2000 Caravan 3.3L?24 Jan 2005 00:24 GMT2
I have a Haynes manual and am wanting to change the thermostat.
To do that, the manual says I must first drain the coolant.
To drain the coolant, the manual says:
1. With the engine running, move the heater control to maximum heat.
