I've got a code  P1491on my  2002 DODGE PICKUP RAM 1500 4.7L. Did a little
research on the code and found out it was a code for the  "Rad Fan Control
Relay Circuit". I plan to replace the relay myself thinking this will fix me
up.  I did a google search of the part numbers on ...
Air filter info "put to rest"06 Jan 2005 21:15 GMT4
After many, many heated discussions on this NG about the efficacy of K$N
filters vs. OEM paper filters, here is some definitive data regarding both.
I realize that I may be opening a can of worms, but I believe that this
should put to rest the "hype" about the K$N filter once and ...

Apologies in advance if this has been asked.  I did a search and didn't
find any reference to it.

Help! I purchased Daniel Stern's RIK-RAM lighting conversion kit for
using 99 Ram Sport headlights in a 98 Ram Sport. Unfortuately, the
package didn't contain instructions. Is there anyone on this forum that
has installed this kit and can send me installation instructions?
cold weather shifting06 Jan 2005 02:47 GMT3
I have a 98 Dakota with a 318 automatic, in cold weather it has a problem
shifting from second into third. After the engine heats up the problem goes
away.
I remember reading about similar problems on this news group a few years ago

Battery Drain05 Jan 2005 06:01 GMT3
My 2001 Maxivan has started draining the battery overnight.  It's a new
battery, the alternator is charging producing enough juice to charge
it, etc.  Any recommendations on the most likely culprit?
My approach will probably be to put an ammeter in the battery circuit,
LOL...New Chevy commercial05 Jan 2005 05:40 GMT4
Just saw this on TV. "Chevy with DuraMax engine has more power than
Ford Super Duty trucks."
Sure did not mention Dodge :-p
04 Ram 2500 diesel05 Jan 2005 02:19 GMT13
I finally got the p/u I wanted!  4 WD and a crew cab to boot.  It's a blast
to drive, handles great off road, good power with a load...and it looks
good.  I did get a 5-speed manual transmission (the only way to go
off-road.)  The only glitch, as far as I know, is on the highway at ...

I have a 1987 Ram 50. 189,000 miles. I just charged my battery and
started the truck, then I let the truck sit overnight. Now the battery
is dead again. What drained my battery while it sat overnight? The
battery is less than 2 years old. Any help?
