Been wondering lately about replacement of the front rotors on my 99 CTD
2500 RWD.  Is there a measurement or rule of thumb used by brake shops on
when the rotors need to be replaced or is it strictly appearance, out of
true criteria that's used?

I have an 03 Dakota with the factory six disk changer.  Does the factory
unit have an auxiliary input?

4x4.  Since then, the gas mileage has gotten about 2 mpg worse (I corrected
for the difference in diameter) and just today, the "trans temp" light came
while I was driving (level road, no additional loads). ...

If the auto trans. torque converter clutch was not locking, would the "check
engine" light illuminate and an error code be set?

Anyone know why a 2004 5.7 hemi 4x4 SLT engine would cut out during normal
turning.  I have had this happen twice in two months.
First time I was stopped and then made a left turn and made it into the lane
and then the engine cut out on me and I was lucky that the traffic in front ...

I have '00 & '05 US model Grand Caravans.  The '00 is US built while the '05
is Canadian buit.  I would like to enable the facory DRL's using
off-the-shelf Chrysler parts - if possible.  As a last resort, I would
consider an aftermarket retrofit kit although I would be concerned ...

i have a 1999 4 wheel drive dodge ram quad cab. i need to know if anybody
can tell me how to take out front u joint on drivers side? can i just take
off rotor and hub nut and pull straight out or what. thank you.

i FINALLY had someone coming to buy my '01.5 cummins 4x4 quad cab

a test drive and the 4x4 light kept blinking.  scared of buying a lemon, the
buyer walked.  :-(

My wife  drives a 96 Grand Caravan...which now has 160,000 or so miles
on it...Van still runs just fine and looks fine....HOWEVER the
plastic headlight  enclosers are now foggy and yellow... Not nice and
clear... Just looks bad..

I found this article today ... 5/10/2005.  According to the article we
should have started to see drops in diesel fuel pricing 2 weeks ago.
It's the same here in north Dallas.  I pay $2.28 and have been for 6-8
weeks.  Anyone seeing a change yet?

Need some help diagnosing a problem on my '98 3500 with Cummins 24
Valve/Auto/3.54 rears.
I just made a three day trip from Virginia to Massachusetts and back.
The trip up was outstanding - 20 mpg at 65 mph.

Recently i have found out something that made my duramax diesel go from
21.54 mpg to 30.98 mpg and got power that is phenominal! and to my
amazment it quit smokeing in the morning while cold after  starting it.
would you like to know how to do this? i will be happy to share with
