i acquired (girlfriend bought) a 32' Stinger/twin 454's on a triple axle trailer. Dealer said my 1/2 ton 5.9L 4x4 autotrans/gas would pull it for occasional weekend trips. Now the trick part, i have replaced the axles with units pulled from a 1 ton diesel so i have heavier ...

| Of all things, I missed my truck the most... | 04 May 2005 15:29 GMT | 4 |
What does that say about me, I wonder? Went on a business trip back in the States, and had a really great time. However, I had to drive an automatic-trans Chevy Cavalier (yick!) for those two weeks.

| Snow Plow on a 05 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4X4 | 04 May 2005 11:10 GMT | 7 |
I know the truck isn't heavy duty, but can a 8' plow be used on this truck to plow driveways? I'm not talking about doing big parking lots just residential driveways. This truck has the Hemi in it & a manual 4X4 shift lever, none of this automatic stuff that fails. It also has ...

| Looking for some tire opinions | 04 May 2005 06:45 GMT | 3 |
I'm about to take in the Dak for it's Ball joint recall and some other work. I figure that this will be a good time to get a new set of tires. I currently have a set of BFG All-Terrain T/A ko's, 31x10.50-15. These have served me well, but I'm looking for a quieter non A/T tire as ...

| Choice for new shocks | 04 May 2005 00:40 GMT | 4 |
I have a '95 Ram 1500 2 wheel drive with 95,000 miles. It has a towing package, but I don't recall the axle ratio. Engine is a 318. I've only had it a couple months. Gets better gas mileage than the 2002 QC 4x4 I used to have. Seems it could ride a bit better than it does. Would ...

Has anyone out there seen and or checked their front door seals nearest the rear view mirrors, on my new 2004 Quad cab the seals interfere with the door and have already broken. OK the dealer replaced them with new ones and the interference remains so

| EGT Gauge Readings | 03 May 2005 05:07 GMT | 10 |
I put the EGT Gauge in this weekend, and took a trip to see Mom about 50 miles away. Readings were in the 600 degree range and jumped up to the 900-1000 range when I jumped on it to get on the freeway or jumping from 60-80 MPH. After I settled in on a speed, the temps dropped ...

| Engine modifications | 03 May 2005 02:58 GMT | 2 |
Is there any web site or book out there that can tell me how to get more horsepower from my 318 motor without sacrificing alot of gas mileage and without causing problems with the on-board computer? I know there is a power chip for the computer system but Im looking for

| Best fuel mileage, and reliability pickup diesel? | 03 May 2005 02:38 GMT | 28 |
I searched these forums and can't find a decent thread talking about fuel mileage and reliability. I want to buy a used(150,000miles or so)DIESEL pickup, mainly because I've always wanted one, and secondly for the fuel mileage and engine

| Rattle in back end - 2001 Dakota | 03 May 2005 02:37 GMT | 1 |
Ok, now that it's warm enough (finally!) to open the windows, I've noticed a rattling coming from the backend of my 4x4 Dak. The rattle appears to be either just something loose, or something in the suspension, since it's directly related to how bumpy the road is (and

| loosing oil in my truck | 03 May 2005 00:09 GMT | 5 |
I have a 97 dodge ram 1500. I rebuilt the engine last summer and I am loosing oil. I just pulled the spark plugs and none of them are black or seem to have any oil in it. I can see no oil leaks and no oil on the ground when parked. If the oil was going out the exhaust pipe ...

| 04 ram foglight installation question please | 02 May 2005 15:39 GMT | 1 |
I recently purchased a set of Mopar foglights for my 04 ram. This came with a seperate pushbutton switch rather than the factory headlamp switch which controls the parking lamps, headlamps, and the foglights. I thought this was really cheap of Chrysler. But anyway, the directions ...

I just bought a used 03 DAK, with a 4.7, and automatic. What kind of Scanner should I get to keep track of what is going on? Where is a good place to buy performance parts to maybe get a little more HP out of it.
