2005 Ram Seat Belt Alarm25 Jun 2005 23:55 GMT9
Does anyone know how to disable that blasted seat belt alarm that keeps
chiming if you take the driver's belt off?  It is driving me nuts when I
just have to go out my driveway to stop at the mailbox.
Thanks

Ram 2500 gas mileage with hemi?24 Jun 2005 19:35 GMT17
I just bought a 2005 POWER WAGON (2500). I have only driven it 200 KM on the
highway now since I got it a few days ago and the computer says I am getting
11.8 MPG. This sounds REALLY BAD. My window sticker did not show an EPA
rating and when I called the dealer they just said that ...
QUINCY IL DODGE DEALER SUCKS24 Jun 2005 06:19 GMT32
My 2000 Ram 1500 Dodge truck was a great runner. No Problems at all. Good
gas mileage. Just a damn fine truck.
Then the service engine light came on.
Took it Shottenkirk Dodge on Broadway in Quincy, IL.
Rear end noise24 Jun 2005 03:36 GMT4
Yeah, it was howling at me, so I took it in and they said $1000 to $1500
depending on what they find when they take my '98 Ram 5.9L 1500 SLT
Laramie's  limited slip apart.
Boo hoo! only 89,000 miles!
PING: T-Bonehead23 Jun 2005 23:13 GMT1
TB,
If the Torque convertor and Transmission are able to produce stuff, can you
come over and rig mine to produce beer?  While you're at it maybe you can
tweak my differential to produce snuff as well...........that way when I'm
Will high octane really damage my engine?23 Jun 2005 20:49 GMT58
As some of you know, I'm a 2001 Dakota owner who is currently stationed
overseas.  The base just upgraded the gas station, and in their infinite
wisdom, now only offer 95 Octane gas.  My owner's manual says my engine
could be damaged if I use high octane.  Will it really?
Chime associated with blinker?23 Jun 2005 20:33 GMT16
I exited the freeway the other day on a long gradual curve of an exit.
I straightened out and stayed in my lane, then noticed the blinker was still
on.  At the same time that I was reaching for the lever, I heard a chime,
same as when the keys are in the ignition, the door is open, ...
'73 Dodge van - rubber bands for brakes?23 Jun 2005 20:26 GMT1
I'm doing the front disc brakes on a '73 Dodge Tradesman 300 (1 ton)
van.  It has the 3300 pound, 8 lug front axle.  I bought rebuilt calipers
(A1 Cardone) which turned out to be real Chrysler, or at least a good
enough knockoff that they copied the logo and everything.  Each ...
I need some help23 Jun 2005 05:36 GMT10
I just bought a used 94 Dakota V-8 4x4 with low milage.  The gas guage is
moving all over the place.  I mean it jumps from empty to full no matter
how much fuel is in the tank.  How can I fix this problem.  Is this
something that I can do myself or do I have to take it in to get ...
Alignment questions23 Jun 2005 03:40 GMT2
I just finished a 9k+ trip to Alaska and back hauling my 25' Arctic Fox
5th Wheel with my 03 2500 HO 6sp. Went as far North as Coldfoot, Alaska
(diesel @ $3/gal). Not one problem with the truck or fuel (other than
my upcomming cc bill).
BioDiesel a fraud?23 Jun 2005 01:26 GMT18
I saw on Science channel last week were 2 just out of high school kids
converted an old Volkswagen diesel van to burn straight used cooking oil
after they were told in their auto mechanic class it could not be done.
They drove cross country stopping at fast food places to fill up.
