towing hitch11 Jun 2005 18:35 GMT12
my 7x18 enclosed trailer came in and i was really surprised to see that
while dodge rates my '01.5 2500 cummins to pull nearly 13,000 pounds they
put a hitch on it rated for only 5000 pounds.  this makes no sense to
me....is this a liability thing or is it _really_ only capable ...

I just bought a used 2003 Dak Quad cab.(25000 miles).

shop and they realigned it, it still pulled the right so
A/C question: r12 vs. r134a connectors11 Jun 2005 03:09 GMT6
My Haynes Dodge Dakota Pick-Ups 1987 thru 1996 states: "CAUTION: There are
two types of refrigerant, R-12, used on vehicles up to 1992..." Then is goes
on to say "Use only R134A refrigerant on models covered by this book". But
the book starts with 1987 models.
Ford Explorer fuel filter10 Jun 2005 22:34 GMT2
I have a 1998 Ford Explorer and when I tried to change the fuel filter it
wouldn't come off after I took the clips off.  I didn't want to use too
much force so as to hurt something. Is there a trick to this that I don't
know???

I have a 2001 dakota with the 4 cylinder five speed and last evening I
was coming home from work and noticed the mil was on. Anyone have an idea

1992 D150 Harsh Shift10 Jun 2005 20:33 GMT1
   I have a '92 d150 5.2L automatic with about 202,000 miles on it.  I'm
getting a very rough 1-2 upshift under normal to light acceleration.  When
you get on the gas a little more, it usually shifts more smoothly.  Also
when shifting from park to drive or reverse it is pretty ...

I have an 05 dakota 4x4 QC and had a question about something.  I was

chain them to the truck and where would be the best place ...

Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi with open rear (non-posi or limited slip diff) can it be upgraded to a posi?10 Jun 2005 02:10 GMT23
I bought this loaded beauty recently, but it doesn't have a posi (the
factory now calls it an Anti-Slip Differential). I want to put a posi in it
but I've heard mixed info on this. One person told me I can't just swap out
the gears because the housing is different and the axles ...
