The 2002+ Dodge 1500 has the same brake system as the 2003+
2500/3500 models and are quite capable of safely stopping *my*
23,000 pound combination (and have done so) much less his far
lighter one.

Got two problems with my 02 1500 Ram 4x4 5.9L:
The automatic transmission takes forever to get to overdrive, if it ever
does.   It also doesn't drop into drive and reverse reliably.  (indicator
says D or R and it's really in neutral) Is there an easy adjustment to fix

Mikuni carb question03 Jun 2005 09:38 GMT1
My '80 D50 has two fuel filters under the hood: one inline at the carb and
a bigger one mounted to the wheel well. The bigger one has one line going
in from the fuel pump and two going out to the carb. I can't find a dual
output filter anywhere, so does anyone know of a workaround? ...

Drivetrain KLUNK niose Dodge Dakota02 Jun 2005 15:09 GMT15
I recently bought a 2001 Dakota V-6 with 5-speed manual transmission. This
is the 1st manual tranny I've had in about 10 years. Here's the problem:
When I let the clutch out I sometimes hear a single "klunk" coming from
somewhere in the drivetrain. It is most noticeable when letting ...
2005 3500 Dually has a problem02 Jun 2005 08:17 GMT3
When I go to the gas station it holds entirely too much fuel and cost too
much money.
I'm thinking of adding a K&N fuel filter, I hear it lets more diesel pass
more quickly than the MoPaR one does.
2004 connector question02 Jun 2005 01:53 GMT2
Was under the dash on my 04 2500 yesterday. There are three connectors
grouped together on the left side of the steering column. One is next to the
parking brake release. Above it is the connector for the trailer brake
controller. Between them is another connector. Has a lot of ...
Who owns Cummins?02 Jun 2005 00:31 GMT10
In one of the other NGs I follow, someone mentioned that FORD owns Cummins.
Is there any truth to this? Did Ford own a piece of Cummins at one point in
time? Who owns Cummins now? or are they on their own?
