throttle body questions21 Aug 2005 14:51 GMT2
I am getting a loud hissing from a rear port in the throttle body. Any
ideas on the cause of this hissing? It is causing my 96 dodge 1500 v6
to start very hard. I restricted the air flow to this port upon one of
the startups and it idled better. However it only worked on this one

I noticed the brackets under my front seats and the dealer replaced them
under warranty. However, my back seat brackets are also rusting .

OT21 Aug 2005 02:23 GMT7
A cold one to the group on me. I made it another year older and am still
breathing and slowly kicking. My b-i-l is taking me down to the trap
shoot/gun show at Vandalia for the day and then the junk food begins out at
the county fair this evening. The only way it could get any ...

2000 Ram Power Steering Pump leak20 Aug 2005 23:17 GMT3
2000 2500 Cummins 4X4. I have developed a leak at what looks like the
back of the power steering pump on my 2500 QC.  FSM shows an o-ring on
the bottom line of the unit around the leak area.  Anybody know if that
o-ring can be replaced, or am I wasting my time messing with it?  Does
Improving the handling on a 2003 ram 1500 quad cab20 Aug 2005 22:18 GMT3
I have a 2003 quad cab ram 1500 with about 1500 miles on it, I know its not
a sports car but of late it seems to be bouncing around a lot more.
Normally its only a very light load in the truck but occasionally I do tow a
trailer and fill the back.
online tire seller?20 Aug 2005 21:50 GMT7
I'm planning on buying new tires for my 2001 Dakota before another wet
winter sets up here in northern England.  I've decided on Michelin LTX
M/S tires, because of the reviews and apparently excellent lifetime.
Since I'm posted overseas, I'd like to find some good online tire
Muffler/tailpipe question..... 1995 Ram 150020 Aug 2005 11:25 GMT2
OK here's the deal.
I'm a Registered Nurse, not a mechanic, but I have a question.
I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2 Magnum. I've got  a Gibson dual exhaust
connected that's pretty much rotting out.
Is the 3.7 L Dakota engine gutless?20 Aug 2005 04:22 GMT2

too much brake dust?20 Aug 2005 03:59 GMT2
I've noticed an increasing problem with brake dust on my 2001 Dak.  Even
after having new front rotors fitted, the dust still builds up fast on
the front wheels.  Seems to be happening on the back tires too - had the
truck in for a slight 'feel' problem when braking, they said ...

'89 360 -- replace bearings or not?19 Aug 2005 21:29 GMT1
I recently bought an '89 B250 with the port-injected 360 gas engine. The van
is in nice shape, and seems to have plenty of pep. Problem is -- low oil
pressure. I replaced the oil pump with a new hi-volume one, and installed a
good mechanical oil pressure gauge. It would read ...
Help!  79 Dodge Van will not run with coil wire inserted!!!!!19 Aug 2005 18:54 GMT7
My 360 V8 runs very well when I have a "gap" at the coil wire.  It will not
start when the coil wire is fully inserted, it runs great with about the
coil wire pull out about 1/2" (the spark jumps about 1/2").
The gap can be at either the distributor cap or the coil.
