Dodge truck remote start23 Oct 2005 02:14 GMT8
I had a local speed shop install an electric starter in my 04 1500 hemi
qc. The make was DEI. A real piece of crap . Very little range. I was
thinking about ripping it out and having the mopar unit installed. Anybody
know whether or not the mopar might simply be a plug in type ...
More tranny questions (Tom L.)22 Oct 2005 18:45 GMT4
I think I messed up somewhere in the band adjustment (48re).  I have
been noticing that at low speeds, my tranny downshifts unexectedly.  By
unexpectedly, I mean it didn't do that before.
For example,  when I am turning left and accelerate straight when the
Installing an alarm in my 2001 150022 Oct 2005 16:59 GMT3
I am installing an alarm in my 2001 Dodge Pickup. A Mopar factory alarm

with the alarm already installed?

Dodge Ram 1500 Question21 Oct 2005 19:37 GMT5
I am new to this group. I am thinking about purchasing a Dodge Ram 1500
Quad Cab. I recently saw two at a dealership with the same miles,
around 49K. One was a 2002 and the other a 2003. I've read some of your
quotes regarding the steering problems in the 2002.

High Altitude21 Oct 2005 15:21 GMT4
I have a 1999 3500 CTD.  Everything is great until I am towing in higher
altitudes. Then it uses WAY too much fuel.  Is there an altitude adjustment?
Selling:  Like-new 1975 Ramcharger21 Oct 2005 05:11 GMT4
I hope this doesn't violate any group rules, but I am selling a 1975
Ramcharger that is in mint condition, always garaged, perfect running
order and only 40,000 original miles on it.  Does anyone know of a
forum or website where I could find a collector or enthusiast who'd be

It doesn't happen every time, but three times in the last six weeks.

engine just quits.  We replaced the coil and thought it was fixed, but
it died again a few days later.  Someone suggested changing the

Pirelli vs Michelin20 Oct 2005 23:39 GMT12
The selection of load range E tires is very limited in my size. Since I
pull an 8000lb trailer, E tires are my only choice.
I currently have (OE) BFG Rugged Trail tires, which I find to be too
noisey. I never go off road. I rarely see snow here in the southwest,
Winch suggestions, equalizer hitch.20 Oct 2005 07:26 GMT4
Need a winch for my 26' enclosed car trailer. Can't decide if one that
reverses is better or worse than one that only powers in and has a clutch.
Suggestions would be welcome. My open trailer has a cheap winch that has a
clutch and it works fine, but it's easy to run around the ...
