'96 1500 trans21 Nov 2005 22:58 GMT1
I didn't realize I had no first gear in the auto trans., until today.
Someone else drove it and suggested I do not have first gear. The truck
has driven this way since 2001!.
Is it possible something like linkage or a solenoid or an electrical
Edffects of overloading truck??20 Nov 2005 16:46 GMT5
I have an '03 Ram 1500 pickup with the 4.7 engine and auto transmission.  I
picked up a pallet of concrete stones that I use to build a retaining wall
yesterday.  I thought that they would weigh about 1500 pounds and I wasn't
too worried about damaging the truck.
Strobe or flash20 Nov 2005 03:11 GMT6
As a responder / EMT for our local department,
we are allowed to have strbe or speed flash
on vechicles when responding to the station.
I have an 05 Ram Daytona. Does anyone know of an easy way to
Tranny issues, 2002 Dodge 3500 dually, 4x4, Cummings, R47E19 Nov 2005 22:21 GMT8

more information now an would like some more opinions.
Here is the background:
Truck has about 82,000 on it.  Use it mostly empty, but occasionally drag
Best Cummins Dealer in South British Columbia?19 Nov 2005 19:29 GMT1
My '92 Dodge 4X4 with Cummins diesel has just turned over 200K -- it's
never been touched (other than regular oil changes and checked the
timing at around 100K).  But it seems that at this vintage, it ought to
be gone over by a competent Cummins expert -- pump, injectors, etc.
loss of oil pressure 19 Nov 2005 17:31 GMT11
I have a 1996 RAM that looses oil pressure after it warms and you put it in
gear.  Have had the oil pump replaced and engine flushed.  NEED HELP BAD.
THANKS
Nascar Craftsman Truck series19 Nov 2005 14:30 GMT1
As a new associate sponsor for a NCTS team,
I was surprised last night when they said that
Dodge was pulling back on the Nascar Truck series.
Why?
Interesting observation for those CTD owners18 Nov 2005 22:48 GMT7
I drive an '04 3500 Dually that has 9974 miles on the clock. It also is
equipped with a full Banks kit and triple gauges on the A Pillar. Last week
, while driving using heavy throttle and the engine pulling hard, there was
a severe engine stutter. This was not a miss fire, it ...
Keyless Entry -- Does my truck have it?18 Nov 2005 17:27 GMT2
I recently bought a used 2003 Ram 3500 Quad Cab SLT 4x4 5.9l diesel.  I
only got one black key.  No remote key-fob.  How do I tell if the truck
has a keyless entry?  Can I check to see if there is a module under the
dash, or anything?

row. just doesn't have time to get on much
I thought I would call her this weekend sometime, and hopefully cheer her up
some. she told me its been a rough year, whatever that means
brake warning light18 Nov 2005 02:02 GMT13
The ABS light and parking brake light are stuck in the illuminated
mode. Been that way for nearly two years. Is the any solution to this.
I have thought about pulling the fuse but that turns off other needed
warning lights. I have a 98 Ram SLT
2006 Dakota 3.7L V6 powertrain noise17 Nov 2005 16:29 GMT6
My 6-speed manual trans. Dakota makes a chattering-
noise when the motor is lugging.  The dealer confirmed
the noise is there but does not know what is causing it.
A similar truck on the dealer's lot has the same noise,
Fuel Injectors17 Nov 2005 11:20 GMT4
I have a 1996 Ram 1500, 318, auto, 4X2 with very high mileage, 268,000. It
runs very good, however I was wondering if it might be time to replace the
fuel injectors, just as a precaution. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Also does anyone know of a place to get the best ...

something i saw on a forum that i just knew would interest everyone
here.
In reference to your question about air filters. K&N is best for flow
restriction but hardly the best performer for removing particulate
