Thanks for all your replies.
Right now the truck is still in the shop. We had it towed to the shop
because on the phone the mechanic said if it was the fuel pump, which he
was sure it was, it would be covered by our extended warranty. But now

1999 Ram fuel pump11 Dec 2005 20:00 GMT5
I was quoted $500.00 to replace a fuel pump in my 1999 Dodge ram 4X4
quad cab with a 26 gallon fuel tank. Although it may be completely
covered under my Guardian insurance plan.
Does that price sound crazy?

towing capacity Ram250011 Dec 2005 17:21 GMT8
I'm somewhat confused about towing capacity and the license tags on light
trucks.
If you are towing your own rig and not for hire, can you use the standard
12000 gvw plates,

2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Overdrive light comes on11 Dec 2005 02:57 GMT2
My O/D lamp lights and the transmission comes out of overdrive while
driving at highway speeds (typically 60-70 mph).  This behavior just
began today, I am not towing and the ambient temperature is around 50
degrees.  One time the Transmission Hot indicator came on, but went out
I need help with my 86 dodge 4x4...Please10 Dec 2005 12:27 GMT1
About three months ago, my 86 dodge pickup with a 318, 4 barrel died and
would not start. Eventually I installed a points distributor and now it
will start, run and idle with an occasional hesitation. When I try to
drive it, it will go for a few seconds and then want to die. I have ...
Help I need a picture!10 Dec 2005 12:17 GMT1
I am in need of a picture of a Dodge Ram pulling a Chevy out of the
ditch, preferable in the snow.  At work we are having a war about Dodge
vs Chevy and I need to deface a co-worker's locker.
98 Ram - No Spark10 Dec 2005 11:15 GMT2
Stuck in the 'wilderness' with a 98 Ram 1500 4x4 5.9L that won't start.
Had a check engine light prior to problem, but was unable to get it
checked.  Light went off on it's own, then a couple days later the
truck wouldn't start (after sitting overnight).  No noticeable symptoms

"tucked under" a lip in the firewall.  How easy is it to remove the valve
cover to adjust the valves?
Also, I've been told the rear axle is 4.11.  How easy is it to change the
Variable cylinder firing09 Dec 2005 21:35 GMT3
I just jost my 05 Ram Daytona w/ Hemi.
Does it have variable cylinder firing based on performance demand?
