I guess I blew this subject way a moment ago, sorry.  I was trying to

Replace Cat Converto - 98 Dakota31 Jan 2006 04:50 GMT8
The Catalytic converter on my 98, 3.9L Dakota needs to be replaced.
The ceramic must have come loose inside and it is rattling to beat the
bear.  I'm not getting any faults yet, so I guess it is still working
but I can't stand the rattling.
1999 Dodge Durango SLT Plus31 Jan 2006 02:00 GMT2
I am considering a  1999 Dodge Durango SLT Plus with over 200000 km on it.  I test drove it and was very please with it.  The dealer claims that it has not been in any accident.  What should I check before buying it

A question to settle a discussion31 Jan 2006 00:41 GMT8
Ok, folks, a friend and I were discussing the first generation Chrysler
electronic ignition. He says you can use one as a transistor ignition module
by connecting a set of points to pin  # 4. I disagree.
There's a 12 pack of Pepsi One riding on who is right.
Please help, heat problem!30 Jan 2006 20:20 GMT8
I just realized on the way to work this morning that the fan in my 2002
Dakota QC only works in the highest setting.  I assume this to mean
that I need to replace the fan?  Is this correct?  I have tried all the
settings, top and bottom, botton and defogger and the fan only works in
sluggish tranny cause30 Jan 2006 03:54 GMT1
In cold weather, the tranny in a '97 2500 diesel is sluggish getting
started.  A dealer told the owner something like the problem is a
valve that is draining down the fluid when turned off and it has to pump
the fluid up.
P-0307; the final repair bill30 Jan 2006 03:00 GMT9
Moral of the story: Never take a misfire code P030(x) for granted. Aka
keyswitch "code 43"   The fix can be as simple as rerouting the plug wires
so they don't arc between them (TSB 18-48-98), or it can be difficult and
very-very expensive.

I have a Dodge 1500 4 by 4 truck with a 4.7 magnum.  I went for a

opened the hood and there was oil ALL OVER the DRiver's side.  I got
out the trouble light when I got home, and put it in my shop.  The

2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Transfer Case29 Jan 2006 07:10 GMT1
231D or 231HD?  I had my transfer case go to pot and I'm trying to figure
out what to do.  The manual and the dealership say it needs a 231HD.  All
the shops I've talked to and all the websites (that aren't Dodge-sponsored)
say 231D.  Are they the same or what?
casters...no adjust?29 Jan 2006 07:06 GMT1
Brought my 98 dodge dakota pickup into NTB for new tires and alignment
(the latter costs $70).   I read over the printout afterwards and
