Rusty Van29 Jan 2006 04:53 GMT10
Just wondering if dodge van owners have had problems with the roof rusting

rusting.

Scanner Advice Please28 Jan 2006 21:38 GMT5
I've finally decided to bite the bullet and buy myself a new OBD-II code
reader. I've looked at a few models on the web, and am leaning toward
the Innova/Equus CANOBD-II Model 3110.
Does anybody here have anything good or bad to say about this one?

Here's a followup to a post from earlier this month.
I picked up my truck from the repair shop and they said it started and
ran just fine. I drove it for several days without any problem. Then
one monring it did it again. Engine would turn over and it was making

Engine light 01 Dakota27 Jan 2006 22:16 GMT9
I had the local Auto Zone run a check on it. They said it was a code
p0161 which means: O2 sensor Heater circuit malfunction (bank 2 sensor
2).
They said it was the O2 sensor that is behind the Catalyctic converter.
1999 Dodge Dakota 4x4 transfer case failure27 Jan 2006 12:40 GMT5
I am looking for some information, or other people who have had similar
situations.  My truck has 150,000 miles on it without any truly hard
use.  Has had fairly regular preventative maintenance.  About 1 1/2
weeks ago, a regular clunk developed under the hood.  It would get
Why change fluid in front/rear differentials?26 Jan 2006 23:48 GMT2
Why is it important to change the oil?,fluid?, or whatever is in the front
and rear differentials?. I don't remember ever having to do it with any car
I owned.  I only remember watching the mechanic check the level on the cars
rear end.  I have 17,000 on my 04 Ram 1500 hemi quad. ...

Anti-Freeze Leak/Water Pump?25 Jan 2006 21:09 GMT3
Friends,
    I have a 1996 Ram 4X4 1500 PU, SLT, 5.9L, 75K.  I have had a small
antifreeze leak for quite a while.  It was never enough to leave a spot
on the ground but I would occasionally get a whiff when I got out of
Ram 2500 Cummins Mega Cab Fuel Economy25 Jan 2006 05:05 GMT11
I am a first time poster here.  I am currently looking at purchasing a 2006

concern I have so far is, the reported fule mileage of this beast.  A friend

Exhaust system25 Jan 2006 04:43 GMT1
I have a 97 - 3/4ton 12 valve CTD auto trans. It's a basic "stock" truck.
The only thing that I've added is a trans. temp. gauge and a K&N air filter.
I talked to someone who said it's great to get more air in but you have to
get that air out too.  He suggested I install a 4" ...
