5.9 L V8 3500 Dodge Engine Problem12 Jan 2006 23:17 GMT2
I have a 2001 3500 Dodge Van with a  5.9 L  V8 engine that has worried me
with an intermittent problem. I use it to tow my desert race truck and fear
that it is going to leave me stranded some time.
On two occasions in the desert, I have tried to start the engine and it

may be fine for a few days then it does it again.  Any ideas

Battery Draining on 99 Durango 5.2l SLT12 Jan 2006 04:42 GMT6
I'm stumped...
I've taken out my alternator and had it tested - it's fine.
I've replaced my battery (which was old and apparently only at 45%) - so the
new one should be fine...
1979 Dodge RV tranny replacement.11 Jan 2006 21:53 GMT7
I have a 1979 Dodge RV, 440 engine, and the tranny is almost shot. I
have been offered a tranny from a late '60's Dodge with a 360 engine.
Will it just switch out, and will it handle the RV with a light tow
trailer? Neither has an overdrive. Thanks in advance.-Jitney
Dodge truck transmissions11 Jan 2006 21:53 GMT3
I have an interest in a new 1/2 ton Ram Crew Cab, gas engine, automatic
transmission.
My friend Chris warns against the thought given the history of Dodge
transmission failures. A Google search of the issue yields sufficient
Weird electrical problem11 Jan 2006 19:36 GMT2
I have a 1991 Dodge W250 4wd diesel that has intermittent dash
electrical problems.  Speedometer, temperature, and oil pressure jump
around and anti-lock brake and brake warning light flash on and off.  I
have tried replacing the speed sensor in the differential and voltage
Need some help11 Jan 2006 19:33 GMT7
Dodge Ram, 1999, 318. 4X4
When a catalytic converter gets clogged (or goes bad, or whatever it
does, and causes the engine to not be able to run, acts as if it's ran
out of gas) does the clog and lack of air flow send messages to the
Blower motor 83 Dodge pickup11 Jan 2006 12:38 GMT12
I have a 1983 D-150 Pickup (V8, 2WD). What would cause the heater to
suddenly begin blowing warm air out of the air conditioning vents? My
mechanic brushed me off by saying the blower motor resistor was bad and that
Dodge didn't make them any more, so there was nothing he could ...
WHICH MUFFLER IS BEST?11 Jan 2006 08:44 GMT3
I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 with a glass pack muffler. It is a single pipe
in and dual pipe out glass pack muffler.  I love the sound of it.  The only
problem is that when I am going down the road about 55 mph or above the
rumble from the exhaust hurts your ears inside the truck ...

I have replaced both the rear differential speed sensor and the magnetized

speedometer and odometer not working at all. Has hesitation and backfire
when running under pressure (at higher rates of speed).  Any ...
Popping Noise 2001 Ram11 Jan 2006 00:42 GMT6
This concerns my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Regular Cab Short Box 4x4.  Lately
when I hit a bump or railroad tracks, a popping noise comes from my
front end.  When I turn a corner, it very seldom does it.  Hitting a
pot hole or anything rough does it.  I have been thinking it's shocks,
