95 2500 diesel  stalls when....04 Jan 2006 16:01 GMT3
It stalls when I have been doing 65mph or more for at least 20 minutes and
I deccelerate to under 65. A couple local mechanics have never heard
anything like it. Anyone with any help at all?
Pilot bearing failure on 6-speed?04 Jan 2006 05:46 GMT4
Happy New Year!
At a NYE party a guy I know said the Dodge 6-speed transmission is
notorious for the pilot bearing not getting enough lubrication. His BIL
is an auto mechanic and bought one. He immediately rebuilt the tranny
Wrong-facing headlamps for Dak?04 Jan 2006 03:48 GMT1
Well, the possibility is becoming better that we may go to another, much
warmer and drier ex-British colony (not the one I hail from, one much
souther)
They're a bit stricter down there about headlamps.  Right now they're
1995 2wd ram 1500 318 oil pump change04 Jan 2006 00:09 GMT1
I have a 1995 2WD Ram 1500 with the 318, my question is how long should it
take to replace the oil pump?  I have also supplied a new pan and gasket.  I
think my shop is ripping me off saying it should take 6hrs, the other local
shop I tried was too busy to answer my question or ...
It's that time again...03 Jan 2006 22:18 GMT5
Time to give away a few dog rockets to the Newbies.
Ok, here's the deal. I'm going to put together a Half Dozen, New Years
Newbie packs. What this does is give the unsuspecting, a shot at some
smokeable cigars, not great cigars, but, cigars none the less.
2004 Dakota Fuel Sending Unit03 Jan 2006 18:50 GMT5
I have a 2004 Dakota 4.7 v8. After about 50k miles on the truck my Fuel
Sending Unit Started acting up. Once my gas guage gets to about half tank it
drops to empty and the gas light and Fuel lights come on. They stay on until
i turn the truck off and back on. Any reason why this ...
98 Dodge Ram Won't start03 Jan 2006 16:12 GMT2
The other morning I went out the start my 1998 Dodge Ram 4x4.  It wound
not strart.  It turned over just find.  It was very cold and damp out.
My coworkers and I pushed it into a warm hangar.  I attempted to start
it in about 2 hours.  It started fine.  I drove it around and ...
1999 Ram Conversion Van Newbie Door Question03 Jan 2006 16:10 GMT1
Had van for about a month now.  Love it.  Mileage sucks compared to my
now retired Voyager, but the trade off for the added passenger/cargo
space is worth it for me.
My question:  How do I get the side and rear doors to open from
98 RAM speedometer problem03 Jan 2006 16:05 GMT1
My 98 RAM 1500, 5.9L speedometer has a mind of its own. The needle pegs
at 0 until I reach a speed of about 30-40 mph and then it starts
working. Drop below that and it goes to 0.
Any repair info would be most appreciated.
93 dodge dakota wont idle03 Jan 2006 12:39 GMT1
I am the proud owner of a `93 dodge dakota. 3.9 v6
The vehicle runs and idles ok when cold, as it warms up it stalls when put
into gear and as it gets up to running temp it has trouble even cranking and
idling at all unless you open the throttle WIDE OPEN and then it seems to be

2500 prices?03 Jan 2006 04:07 GMT2
Folks,
I've been looking over older Dodge 2500's for sale and prices seem to be
all over the map.  Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds give what seem to be
reasonable prices for 12V trucks but owners and businesses seem to go way
2006 2500 turbo diesel auto trans vibration02 Jan 2006 22:28 GMT10
I just went out to test drive a 2500 with the turbo cummins and the auto
trans.  I noticed a vibration out of the transmission when first starting
out from a stop.  Is this normal?
I think its the tranny slipping the first gear....  Having had an old 70
1986 Dodge Ram Power 4x402 Jan 2006 15:11 GMT2
Only 46k original miles on it.  Today when I stepped on the brakes, it
pulled severely to the right.  No apparent reasons like hitting a curb or
median.  It was also bouncing like I was driving on a dirt road, but I was
on a 4 lane highway.
