Truck runs fine, except it's fuel usage could be better. Check engine
light throws code P0455.

Friends,
My original posts are below but this couldn't happen could it?  I
anchored the broken water pump bolt to the housing with some Permatex
and made a pretty good seal.  I drove her to work last night and for

My truck has about 106,000 miles.  I replaced the front shocks with
Edelbrock IAS and after about 1000 miles they went out, i.e. knocking,
sounding like something was loose.  I then put Monroe Gas Matics and
solved the problems.  Now the driver's side is doing the same thing.

I am working on an intermittant problem on my 94 Dodge Ram.  It has the
318 motor.  It will intermittantly stop running like it is starved for
fuel.  This is preceeded by a couple of minutes of barely running while
not under load, (spitting and sputtering through the throttle body).

First the facts, and only the facts :
'99 Dakota 3.9l manual trans.  119k on the clock.  Daily driver with only
work done in the last 3 months being 4 new tires.
Minor tidbits before I get to the crux of my problem.  When I'm slowing for

Friends,
I had a radiator shop look at the leak and they said it was the timing
chain cover that is leaking.  Plus one of the water pump bolts is
broke.  I looked up in the Haynes Manual the procedure and it seems to
