| '87 Dakota Engine Swap | 03 Feb 2006 15:01 GMT | 2 |
I'm asking this for a friend, as I haven't a clue. His truck is a 1987 Dakota, 3.9 V6, 5 speed manual, 2WD. He wants to know if a swap to a 318 would be much trouble. Would his current bellhousing match, and how about the engine mounts, springs, computer, etc. Would it even be ...

| dodge frames and snow plows | 03 Feb 2006 02:36 GMT | 2 |
This is probably a really dumb question - but - will using a snow plow cause the frame of a 2500 to wear or "work loose"? I'm thinking about unequil loading of the right and left sides of the frame rails due to hitting snow loads unequally with the plow.....

| Is this normal for '99 Ram 1500? | 02 Feb 2006 04:37 GMT | 4 |
When I have the a/c or fan on and accelerate really fast, the air will stop blowing out the front vents and instead blow out the vents under the windshield. As soon as I lift my foot off the gas, it returns to blowing through the front vents. Step on the gas again and it'll go

| will a 89 Dakota AT fit a 92? | 02 Feb 2006 04:29 GMT | 2 |
I'm looking at a 92 Dodge Dakota 4x4 that needs a tranny. I've heard of some problems with these trannys. If I buy this truck, will an older tranny bolt in? Like one from an 89? Is it the same tranny, better or worse?

| Unfriggin'believeable | 01 Feb 2006 14:54 GMT | 59 |
Was out with a friend looking at the new Mega Cab's. What a damn disappointment. A suppoosedly HD 4x4 truck that you can't put a plow on if you get the Cummins engine. So on a truck with the msrp over $54K the front end is so marginal that it can't handle a snow plow? That will ...
