What the heck was THAT??17 Mar 2006 14:18 GMT3
This is something that has happened maybe 5 or 6 times over the life of
my 2001 Dakota (4x4, 4.7l v8).  Normally, this happens if I've backed up
and nearly stalled the truck: pilot error.  Did it the first time during
the first couple of hours that I owned it (then didn't do it ...

Dealer actions suspecting faulty fuel injectors17 Mar 2006 05:32 GMT3
What actions would a Dodge dealer take if the dealer suspected intermittent
injector failure with a 3rd generation Cummins ISB powered truck? I ask this
question because the correct action would be to remove the injectors and
test them on a test bench. Here's the rub. Very few ...
Dakota backup lights switch?17 Mar 2006 05:19 GMT1
Well, we're getting ready to leave this fair but rainy climate for
something a little warmer.  Thusly, I had the truck in to have the
lights converted back to US standards.  Over the last three years, I've
had no backup lights, as they've been rewired to be turn signals - the
a/c line bracket17 Mar 2006 05:09 GMT1
01' Ram 5.9 liter v8.  I broke my a/c line bracket that holds the 2
down.  It's right above the alternator.  I tried a couple bone
yards...no success.  Dodge dealer didn't even know how to look up the
bracket...figured i need to replace the lines to get it.  Wasn't sure

 Changing plugs on a 5.9L in a B2500 van.  There's
*got* to be some kind of trick to getting at the number
1 and 3 plugs...  right?  The other 6 are a minor pain,
but so far I haven't even managed to get the plug wires
Diesel question17 Mar 2006 01:28 GMT2
I was wondering if anyone here has has used propane injection as a
milage booster.  I have little knowledge about propane injection,
other than ads and articles that proclaim tremendous milage gains.  I
don't believe the milage claims but think there may be enough of an
00 Dakota - factory fog lights16 Mar 2006 14:56 GMT1
Has anyone installed a Mopar factory fog light kit in an '00 Dakota?  I was
wondering if its necessary to route any new wiring through the firewall, or
if it already is pre-wired.
