I have a 2001 Dodge Ram and it has 90,000 miles on it.  It is the 5.9 L
and is 4wd.  I have done very little towing with this beast.  No major
problems to date.  One of my friends has pointed out to me a couple of
times that when my Ram reaches 150,000 to 180,000 I can expect to ...

I was looking for a cheap tow rig and came across a '73 Dodge two
wheel drive with a 383 and a Clark five speed from a "retard bus" (the
short wheelbase school bus). The truck was originally an automatic, it
had the auto steering column and brake pedal, cut down to clear the

Just saw that the VA will spend $160 mill to monitor credit for those who's
records were lost.
I still haven't received my letter, maybe something went right this month.

Detroit Diesel in a Dodge truck21 Jun 2006 07:26 GMT4
Anyone seen a 53 Series DD in a pickup like this recently? Since DD
was GM for decades and is now DCX I figure both GM and Dodge truck
buffs could go that way.

Changing the Transmission for better mileage21 Jun 2006 02:47 GMT33
Hello. I have a '95 Dodge Dakota with a 3.9l Magnum. I love my truck but if
there's one thing I have to say that I can't stand about it, it would be the
horrible gas mileage I get on the highway. I was just offered a job as an
independent contractor repairing computers and on ...
49 Power Wagon20 Jun 2006 17:48 GMT6
Hi all. We just sold a pretty rough 49 Dodge Power Wagon, with the
swing out windshield and all. It has a bix flathead six engine and a
PTO wench on the front. How rare are these? I'm not sure as I'm a
Studebaker guy.

has had any experience with these and any recommendations
cummins water temp?20 Jun 2006 04:37 GMT2
Got a '96 2500 with 12 valve Cummins.  The water temp gauge was slowly
walking back and forth between 0 to 190 degrees F.  I took it to the shop
- they said it needed a new sender.  Got it replaced.
Now, the temp does not walk up and down - it reaches a steady state at
94 b250 van brake lockup??20 Jun 2006 01:09 GMT1
My dad has a 94 B250(I think!) van that he claims the brakes both
locked up on the freeway.
He said both were smoking when he came to a stop.  He did try greasing
the slides, but said the same problem...brakes stuck when applied.
Veterans19 Jun 2006 00:47 GMT112
I got my letter from the VA today stating that I was one of 26.5 Million
vets who's personal information was one the PC that got stolen.  This number
is allot larger than I've heard.  It also contained spouse information and
disability ratings.
