The last few times that I've engaged my 4wd on my '92 Dakota the axle refuses to disengage. I try all the tricks -- back up, power on, power off, etc. and eventually I have to get under the truck and remove the four bolts holding the disconnect housing cover, pull it out a little

"The Kid", my 23 year old, has an only slightly nutty idea. (Gets it from his mother - VBG) He got a '97 1500 Dodge ram four wheel drive pickup that has been wrecked. It's exactly like his daily driver two wheel drive pickup.

I have a '92 W150 shortbed, 318, 4x4. The wind caught my driver's side door the other day and now it's out of alignment. The hinge-to-body bolts are accessed (I assume) from under the dash but there's a steel skirt of some kind in the way. And it's not going anywhere,

How do I start a used Cummins diesel engine removed from a Dodge truck? I don't have a key, and I don't have a foot pedal. There's an ECM (electronic control module) on the side of the engine, so I figure I need to hook something up to that ECM in order to get it to turn over
