I'm in the market for a new truck and was wondering if there is anything to beware of with the new flex fuel engines. Are they as dependable as standard gas engines? I've been told to expect about a 15% loss in fuel mileage while running E85. I can live with that if they don't ...

| Diesel Question | 07 Jul 2006 21:32 GMT | 22 |
I don't own a diesel, never have. I've driven a few (925's, hummv's). I see diesel truck owners stop at a store or business and leave the engine running. Not on particularly cold or hot days, either. Why is that? Is there some reason not to shut the engine off?

| 1997 Dakota 318 CI. 113,000 Oil pressure fluctuates | 07 Jul 2006 15:51 GMT | 3 |
The oil pressure reads 25 idling and about 45 at highway speeds. Sometimes running at highway speeds it will show 25 and minutes later it will go back to 45 lbs. It does not change if you slip it in neutral and rev the engine. Nothing sounds like low oil pressure no loud valves or ...
