I have a 1983 D150 that has a dead number 6 cyclinder I'v replaced the intake manifold gasket fuel pump and carburetor and put new plugs,wires, rotor button and distributor cap onn and checked for bad valve springs and such.

On a '98 Dakota 3.9L Magnum, to change from a 3:55 to a 3:92 rear end is it a matter of changing the ring and pinion gears, or does it require a complete axle assembly? Driveshaft? Frank

I have a 97 2500 4X4 diesel that has a rear wheel seal leaking. Dealer says they have to pull both axels to fix. Is this true, also do you have to pull all the rear brake parts off to pull the axles? Any comment appreciated. Thanks,Pete in Sonora

1st time dodge truck owner looking at 1st oil change. Dealer service writer says any good dinosaur oil is fine. Guy that performed 1st "free with purchase" oil change says you got to use Mopar oil and they it is synthetic or synthetic blend.
