ebay but thought I'd get some input from the group first.
Thanks,
91 Dodge Ramcharger shifting iregularities04 Aug 2006 23:37 GMT3
My 1991 Dodge Ramcharger, 5.2L, (318) V8, auto trans,.  I have had this
truck since it was built.  I special ordered it and picked it up with 7
miles on it.  I have taken great care of it, getting it lubed and
changing all the fluids on a regular basis.  Granted, my truck has

2001 Dakota 4x4.  Just had the tie rod ends replaced, which helped some
issues I didn't even realize the truck had 'till it didn't have them any

However, I'm still noticing a noise, like a tick or perhaps like one

Dakota brakes03 Aug 2006 08:05 GMT3
02 Dakota 4WD 3.9L, 48,000 mi. auto trans
Front pads are seizing up against the rotors on both sides.  Has done
this three times but not every time I drive it.  After last time I pulled
assembly apart--calipers seemed OK and I cleaned slide surfaces for pads but
Rear end ratios 3.21 vs 3.9203 Aug 2006 04:54 GMT43
I'm considering a new Dakota and was wondering whether to go with a 3.92 or
the standard 3.21 rear end. Most of my driving is city and I occasionally pull
around 5-6K pounds, but not frequently. Will the 3.92 have a gas mileage
impact around town? I know it will on the highway ...
'97 2500 4x4 front end goes -clunk-03 Aug 2006 04:39 GMT12
My front end is making a clunking sound.  It happens half a second before
I come to a complete stop and happens again with a half second or so of
taking off.  The steering tends to wander a bit as it goes down the
highway.
Delo 400 vs. Delvac03 Aug 2006 01:32 GMT1
Are there any studies out there that compare Chevron's Delo 400 to Mobile's
Delvac diesel oils?
I usually run Delo, but in my last discussion about synthetic oils, someone
mention Delvac.  I am about to change my oil.  I decided to stay with Delo
Dodge Ram with Front Frame Rail Damage?03 Aug 2006 01:28 GMT29
I was just about to buy a used truck (2004 Dodge Ram 4x4 Diesel) and
just before we finalized the deal, I found out it was in an accident
(even though the dealer said it was not - even in WRITING).  When I
obtained detailed claim information from the insurance company, I found
97 Dakota, lose of power, backfire, lopes in gear(repeat post).02 Aug 2006 16:54 GMT3
I have posted twice before on this truck, and have received some well
thought out, knowledgeable responses, but none have fixed the problem.
I have changed:  Sparkplugs, Rotor, Distrib Cap, Sparkplug wires,
Coil.
Amsoil Oil???02 Aug 2006 01:51 GMT17
I have been looking at purchasing Amsoil oil for my 2003 Dodge Diesel.  I
have read all the specs and publications.  The oil is expensive, but they
claim it has extended life.  Does anyone use Amsoil?  Is it worth the
switch?  Any performance comments?
