Remember you told me that Wal-Mart had the thing that you could use so a aux
socket would power more than one item? Anyway I can't find it. Spent some
time on line at Wal-Mart's and nada. Any thoughts?

all the power but want to save some on my 14 miles to the gallon highway. If

2003 QuadCab - where to get ignition power?30 Sep 2006 00:36 GMT12
I'm looking for a 12v power source on the driver's side - one that
goes off with the key.   Is there an easy spot to do this or will I
have to run one in from the fuse box in the engine compartment?
Pinion depth setting, 9.2529 Sep 2006 01:33 GMT30
I've set up about 5 axles, a mix of Ford 9" and D44 and have the equipment,
experience, and success rate ;^)
The issue is I always have done a complete gear swap. I only plan to replace
the bearings on my 98 since the R&P look fine and I caught the bearings early

When I get my a.s to FL I'm going to need a 'putor for the house. I want to
leave this one here in MA for Sue to use and the time's when I come up. I
don't do a bunch of gaming but I might. I do a lot of reading on the net. I
like a BIG monitor for all the pink bunny pic's. I ...
New Plan -- Replacing rear bearings on a Dodge pickup?28 Sep 2006 17:25 GMT16
OK guys... My plan for now is as follows.
0. The noises that I have are of two distinct kinds, a whining noise
that appears when I ease the gas pedal, and grinding noise that I hear
at low speeds.

Okay Tom,  If the truck is in low 1 or low 2 it does not jerk.  It will
not jerk in reverse either.  Only in drive.
Any suggestions?

I just bought a used 2003 Quad Cab SLT 4x4 yesterday (4.7L).  Great

wheel to check, so I'm going to ask here....
Does anyone know if there's a way to determine if this has a factory

I just bought my new truck and I have been searching for
"In channel" side window deflectors but have not had

Durango on a carrier27 Sep 2006 05:52 GMT9
I'm looking to move to Florida this fall and I was maybe looking into
renting a small truck (Uhaul, Penske, etc) and a trailer to put my suv on.
It's a 2002 Durango STL+.  However, none of the carriers offer a trailer
that can accomodate an suv of that size.  Anyone have any ...
Transmission shuttering at super slow speed27 Sep 2006 04:02 GMT7
O.K. dodge guru's figure this one out. Dodge ram 1500 4x4 quad, 100,500 miles
and new balanced tires, brakes and rotors. When initially taking off from
stop, and without touching gas, truck shutters ever so slightly but enough to
see out rear view mirror. As soon as I touch the gas ...

I decided to take pictures as I go along. See

Some findings as I opened up the differential.

I have had it26 Sep 2006 22:45 GMT8
