1999 Dodge RAM 1500: Strange noise, need help ID'ing22 Sep 2006 17:36 GMT14
I have a 1999 Dodge RAM 1500 with about 70k miles on it, 4WD.
Recently it started making strange noise. The most typical way to make
the noise is to start braking from higher speed and slow down to about
20-30 MPH.
seat upgrade - kinda long post22 Sep 2006 17:32 GMT6

1997 Dakota going into semi-retirement21 Sep 2006 20:53 GMT1
After 175k nearly-troublefree miles, my trusty '97 Dakota is being
retired from service as a daily driver.  A small, more fuel efficient

though, since it's paid off and I still need a truck from time to time.
1999 dodge ram 1500 valve rattle, 5.2 V821 Sep 2006 16:39 GMT4
I get valve rattling on acceleration with the use of regular octane fuel.
high octane fuel eliminates the rattle. could timming be a factor?someone

any comments would be greatly appreciated.

cold. Spins nice and fast, but just won't catch.
I was there one time when it did this. Starter for a couple seconds.

Navigation system revisited18 Sep 2006 18:57 GMT15
Spent some time today looking at both the garmin and the tom tom. I like the

sharper. Here's the problem I found. Maybe it is just me not knowing what
