alternator strangeness28 Dec 2006 03:18 GMT6
Got a '97 2500 diesel.  When I start it, the alternator gauge swings from
lowest acceptable position on the gauge to normal reading.  It generally
cycles from lo to high every 4 or 5 seconds.  This normally goes on for 30

RWAL Brake Bleed Question27 Dec 2006 01:34 GMT2
I replaced the booster unit and am bleeding out the system, but have
never done a truck with RWAL before (97 Dakota).
When I got to the left rear, an ounce or two of fluid came out (using a
Mityvac vac pump...not pedal pushing)...then nothing.

were told a new switch would be needed. This replacement did not solve the
problem. Brights work fine and fog lights work fine. Any ...
