'67 D100 with bad electrical13 Dec 2006 06:39 GMT8
My 1967 Dodge D100 pick-up has been plagued with electrical problems since
last summer. It started with a strange smell (I found out later was the
AMP meter burning) that would last for about 10 minutes every other day 2
or 3 weeks before the electrical system completely shut down ...

Trying to talk wife into trading her 2004 Durango in on a new Nitro. I
was looking at the RT but I'd have to order one. What do you guys think?
I know I wont get much trade with the price of gas and all.

96 dodge dakota no reverse13 Dec 2006 03:28 GMT4
My so pulled out of the school parking lot just fine, got home, and had
no reverse.  All other gears appear to work fine.  No indication of
something going wrong just all of the sudden.  I know Fords and Chevys
but after reading the stories here I see there could be bigger
Alignment--2000 Ram 1500 4X412 Dec 2006 17:12 GMT3
My right front tire pretty suddenly wore out on the outer tred row. The
truck was pulling right. I put the never used spare on the right front
and the truck wanted to go slightly LEFT. Had the alignment checked and
everything supposedly was within specs, except cross camber which ...

My 92' Ram 150 4x4 light does not work. Took out the bulb and put in
back in and it worked just fine.  After I got everything back on the
dash the light don't work.  Took the bulb out again and replaced it
with a new one and still nothen.  Is there somekind of a "switch" that
Steering noise redux (a bit long)12 Dec 2006 07:13 GMT3
Yes, I've mentioned this before, but I've gathered a more complete view
of the symptoms, and wanted to see if they add up to something specific.
It's a bit of a pain to take vehicles in here - they'll keep the vehicle
for a day or two to start, just to sort out what's wrong, THEN ...
OT<<< Weekend BS Post>>>11 Dec 2006 19:27 GMT32
I'm sure most of you have read or heard of the study and recommendations
about our policy in Iraq.
What do you think that GW will do regarding the recommendations contained in
the study?

Should I disable the Overdrive?10 Dec 2006 21:31 GMT8
Got a 2004 Dakota 4-wheel drive with an automatic transmission.
If I'm driving in 4 wheel hi, should the overdrive be turned off?
My book only mentions this if the truck is towing anything.
Thanks for help,
Block heater on Cummins10 Dec 2006 15:52 GMT4
Do these heaters get hot enough to damage the oil if they are left on for a
couple of days?
I'm assuming the heating element is in contact with the oil, but maybe not.
Thanks,
Replaced ignition switch '03 1500 RAM QC now no heat...09 Dec 2006 18:51 GMT3

and the a/c. I get no hot air. What could have went bad?

bonkers09 Dec 2006 15:13 GMT12
I've got a friend going bonkers with a steering problem on a '96 2500,
diesel, 4x4.  The truck wanders at highway speeds - especially on two lane
roads. If he hits a rut or a defect - the truck follows it even tho the
steering wheel position has not changed.  Think steering behavior ...

Key fob programming issues09 Dec 2006 01:27 GMT4
I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT with a key fob issue.
The batterery is good in the fob. I took the truck to the dealer and
they tested the fob and the fob was giving out a signal.  The fob will
not unlock the doors and panic button will not work.  I have tried to
Avoid Speeding Tickets08 Dec 2006 22:18 GMT21
Think about it. No one likes to get unjust traffic tickets. Red light and
speed cameras are popping up all over the world at an alarming rate.
Motorists have paid in excess of $1 Billion in fines to date. The public is
in desperate need for an effective product that can provide ...
