2006 Cummins13 Feb 2007 16:53 GMT5
I've got a 2006 Cummins with about 2500 miles on it.  In the last week
or so it appears to occasionally be missing on a cylinder.  Usually
it's in the first couple of minutes of driving, but not always.  I
guess the prudent thing to do is just bring it to the dealer, and I
4.7L Longevity ?13 Feb 2007 16:20 GMT5
Howdy.
I'm contemplating purchasing a used truck with the 4.7L V8.  How long
to these engines typically last?  Just an average ballpark - I realize
it has way more to do with maintenence.  For example, I wouldn't
Star Nuts, and Tailgates13 Feb 2007 13:35 GMT4
I was all excited to put the finishing touches on my 98 Ram rehab by
replacing some rusted out broken tailgate cables.  Got some nice new
ones, and as I was about to toss em on, realized there is a wierd kind
of wrench I'll need to turn the bolts that the cables are tied to.

Dakota Alignment Q11 Feb 2007 03:32 GMT6
Anybody know what front-end alignment adjustments are possible on an '03
Dakota?  Of course toe, but what about caster & camber?
Also, for any service folks, what's up with a "4-wheel" alignment from the
dealer?  My invoice listed a 4-wheel alignment.  Even though I paid the
Buying a Dodge Vehicle...11 Feb 2007 00:20 GMT8
I am looking at purchasing a new Dodge Vehicle. A friend of mine says
he can get me a "A Program" code to give to the dealer when I am
purchasing the vehicle. He says this will get me a huge discount. Any
idea what this is?

The parts from Mopar go for about $300. I called my dealer and they want

Driving a truck09 Feb 2007 13:11 GMT3
My truck is the first p/u I've ever driven, let alone the first V8
I've ever been behind.  Alot different than the 6-banger in the
Caravan, and behind that...the lil' Saturn engine...I'm always
paranoid somethings wrong with it....
