I have a 1996 Ram 2500. It was stolen in November and problems have
been appearing since. I replaced my hub assembly on the passenger side
(it was in VERY bad condition) and the one on the driver side has a
touch of play. The latest problem appearing is that if I hit a bump

i have a 1998 1-ton, 24 valve, stick and i'm using what is left on the
dealer installed #2 injector pump.  The things the truck suffers from are
engine check light and temporary dead pedal. I don't want to do the same
repairs and have this happen again, next repairs must take and ...

Dodge Nitro24 Mar 2007 17:10 GMT2
My girlfriend just purchased a 2007 Nitro complete with the chrome package,
upgraded wheels, 3.7 and she loves it.  Yep here it comes, the only
complaint is that the brakes make like a rubbing noise and she feels that
the brakes pulstate at times.  She traded in her '01 Frontier ...
A fun day of auto service24 Mar 2007 13:37 GMT4
A year or so ago I posted here for advice on tire selection.  I've
noticed higher mileage tires tend not to hold their balance for the
life of the tire, and so I wanted a tire service package that included
lifetime balance and rotation.  And because I knew I'd be moving I
Slow leak in tires - found the reason24 Mar 2007 11:41 GMT16
I have a 2000 Dakota Quad 4x4 with the nice rims and over sized tires.
Over the last two months the driver side tires have lost about 5# of air
per week, it was driving me crazy - I though the valve stems were bad but
could never find a leak.
Rear Differential Speed sensor24 Mar 2007 02:40 GMT5
Does anyone know if the rear differential sensor in a 97 Dakota 2WD has
anything that holds it in place from the inside, like a sliding clip or
anything like that?  Or is it just a tight fitting O-ring?
Thanks,

is it 120k, or 220k . . . or 320k?24 Mar 2007 01:13 GMT7
A couple of years ago I bought a 1987 Dodge B250 which purportedly had
120,000 miles on it. After the first oil change, I disovered that my oil
pressure was falling down to near zero at idle when the engine (a 360, btw),
is warmed up. Okay, so I change first the oil pump, then ...

I unscrewed the drain plug (The pan is made by HY-TECH)? and it has a
magnetized head on it.
On the head was some metallic sludge. It looked like it had been there for a
long time. I forgot to take a picture before I wiped it off.
Van Brakes23 Mar 2007 18:44 GMT1
1998 Ram Van 1500 V6/Auto 2w ABS?  Have what I consider excessive peddle
travel. Brakes work good
but do not inspire confidence. Does not pump up. Pulled rear wheel
adjustment Ok. Give a click or two on emergence brake to take up any slack
How can I determine Engine in 1998 Dakota?23 Mar 2007 18:32 GMT28
I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota but I do not know the engine size.  It is
either a 5.2L or 5.9L.  The tag is missing from the door and the VIN
is incorrect.  It is NOT a 4.7L.  Is there a tell-tale sign to
distinguish between the 5.2L and 5.9L?  They look very similar.

Thanks to all who responded so far.
Last I posted was that the transmission was not engaging.
This was based on my experience when I was sitting on a hill. The truck kept
rolling back when in any gear.
