Dodge Ram 1500 2001 mist and smell of radiator fluid23 Mar 2007 13:27 GMT1
Just purchased and notice mist and smell coming from vents. Keep
reading that it might be a heater core, I don't have $600 for a shop
to repair. What tools and things do I need to do it myself. Should I
attempt it. Any help would be appreciated.
1994 Ram D250 will not warm up23 Mar 2007 08:27 GMT9
I bought a 1994 Ram D250 that was a Navy Van. The problem is that I
can only get between 12 and 14 MPG (no load). I think the Navy people
took the thermostat out. So, that would make it run rich (low heat
also) and kill my MPG, right?

The truck is a 96 Ram 2500 4x4.
The bearing (they are sealed, right?) separated while removing the hub
(while changing my rotors). Could this be a problem? I changed the
rotors, repacked the wheel bearing, and put everything else back on. I

help removing hub - what a pain21 Mar 2007 00:20 GMT1
I've taken the hub nut off and the bolts on the back are off. The hub
seems stuck. I've tried everything except a hub puller which I don't
have access to (can't find one close by). I've read it can be done
without the puller but how? One person got behind it and "tapped" it

I did not want to leave it a some local shop and then later calling me

Insulation sound deadening20 Mar 2007 02:02 GMT7
While I have my interior out anyone have good suggestions for adding
mass or insulation?
The Dynamat stuff is overly expensive. Not sure about the self-adhesive
roofing stuff as I don't want the interior to smell of tar/asphalt.
