Looking at a Ram 1500, standard cab LB. 2001 series with the V-6. 2WD. It's really a good looking truck and drives well. (A few cosmetic issues but nothing major.) Here are the problems my mechanic (formerly at a local Dodge dealreship) found on a pre-sale inspection today.

| 2003 Durango Heater Motor | 09 Mar 2007 05:17 GMT | 3 |
Hello. I'm posting for a friend. He is having an issue with his heater motor only running on high. I suggested that he could possibly need a new switch assembly. Maybe he needs a motor; who knows. Anyone here have a similar problem? If, what was your fix? Thanks.

| RAM CTD horns have no fuse!!!! | 08 Mar 2007 23:34 GMT | 5 |
I have been having problems with my dealer installed car alarm. I have very little faith that car alarms actually help with vehicle theft, but the dealer installs alarms on every car that they sell. To date, I have been back to the deal 3 times with problems with the alarm.

I have a 2002 Ram Van 3500 (2wheel drive) It's the same chassis/etc as a Ram 3500. I am trying to replace the front wheel bearings, but keep coming up short. About 2" too short. As in, when I go to put the disk rotor back on, it sticks out too far to even get the retaining nut

Anyone know what would cause a mild grinding noise only at low speed from the center of the rear-end on a '96 Ram 1500? From inside the cab the sound seems to be coming from all directions but upon riding in the bed of the truck going down the road(at 20 degress outside) it's clear ...
