The transmission went out on my Ram 50 so i had the local shop here put in a new(salvaged) transmission and while it works, it slips from 2nd to 3rd gear. they adjusted the throttle cable all the way out and it helped some but it seems to want to shift to 3rd really early

I have a 98 dualie that I would like to make into a single tire. I have been told that "it can't be done" are that I need to change the whole rear end to all I need to do is change the rear hubs. I would like sow help with this.

I have a 98 Ram with over 175,000 miles. Last summer I had the pinion bearings replaced due to the horrific roar from the rear. Over the last few months I have had a different problem.
