Started up my '98 Durango 4x4 today to hear it knocking.  Gets much louder
at about 2000 RPM.  The wife ran it out of oil a couple of days ago.

It's getting louder. Used to be heard at highway speeds, but now quite loud
at 45.
If I step on brakes or turn to the left sound deadens quite a bit.
Took off tire and nothing seems loose.

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango with 165k on it. I noticed recently with
the A/C on it ides rough sounds like a miss in the engine. Anyone have

Check engine light on   Code P 0037?  Checked gas cap, did not remove the
light?  Any ideas.

If anyone has had a dealer (or Auburn Hills) successfully diagnose why
everything electric and 4 wheel drive goes on the fritz in rain and snow,
please let me know.

i recently replaced the transmission on my 1991 dodge dakota with a
rebuilt one from a 92, but the transmission pan is a little dented.
where can i found a replacement one and/or can i just pound this one
flat with a hammer and dolly?
