Oil Smoke Test26 Nov 2007 19:13 GMT6
Is there any test that can be performed to verify oil smoke from the tail

test for certain if it is or is not oil other than ...
Sorta OT Need some info.25 Nov 2007 13:24 GMT28
Seeing as I've become the southern gentleman I've4 been looking for
something to run around in locally. don't need a 400+HP monster to drag my
skinny a.s, fishing pole and a cooler to the beach.
So I've been looking at older Jeeps. The last one I had was a 75 CJ5, can't
Dodge Sprinter mileage24 Nov 2007 20:59 GMT1
My apologies if this is the wrong ng.
Just curious if anyone knows what kind of fuel mileage the Sprinter gets.
I know official numbers may be hard to come by, so maybe relative to
the common CTD in a Ram 2500?
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!24 Nov 2007 00:43 GMT9
It's 4:04 EST.  Here in Oz it's just past 6:30pm, sun's just setting.
Had a nice "relative-of-turkey" dinner, with an Aussie twist - Chicken
cooked on the barbie, corn cooked with it, with stuffing (of course),
homemade Rye bread rolls, and vanilla-bread-and-jam for dessert.
Fix or Cut Losses22 Nov 2007 13:23 GMT25
My '97 Dakota just started getting some rod clatter and the oil pressure
goes to near 0 at idle.  Approx. 202,500 miles on it.  3.9 V-6, auto
trans.  Some rust on box.  Fix or replace?  Jasper wants almost $2400
for a reman.

DBII -> USB/serial port cable?21 Nov 2007 15:07 GMT10
Anyone know of a source for one of these to connect a laptop to the DBII
port on Dodges? Only place i've found is offering one for $200 - which is
friggin ridiculous.
Windshields21 Nov 2007 14:53 GMT13
Windshields
The windshield of almost all cars and trucks are made out of two
curved sheets of glass, with a layer of tough plastic laminate between
them. The plastic laminate serves to hold the two layers of glass
Dakota hard at work!21 Nov 2007 14:48 GMT5
You all might want to look at what my dakota did this weekend. If it falls
