I finally got around to replacing the water pump on my '99 V6 ram 1500

the timing cover a bit......  anyway, while i was there, I undid the
remaining bolts of the timing cover and replaced the timing chain as
3.7L oil filter16 Mar 2008 16:28 GMT3
1st oil change on my 2008 Dakota 3.7L.  Owner's manual says filter #
05281090, so I go buy me a Mopar oil filter # 05281090 and some oil
and start into it.  Lo and behold, the factory filter is different -
it's taller and skinnier whereas 05281090 is shorter and fatter.  The

? on changing out fuel transfer pump on 2001 CTD13 Mar 2008 04:43 GMT2
Never done this before, and read the procedure in a factory manual.  As part
of their procedure, they show removing the starter first.
Their verbiage makes it sound like the reason for that is just to catch the
fuel spill.

Anybody know what creates the problem with slack in the steering of a
vehicle?  Multiple different possibilities I imagine, right?

changing the waterpump on a 99 durango12 Mar 2008 05:21 GMT2
I have a leaky waterpump on a 99 durango with the 5.9L engine.  It looks
like I have to remove the radiator to pull the waterpump.  Is there a
special trick to disconnecting the tranny cooler, either leaving it bolted
to the radiator and pulling it out, or disconnecting the tranny ...

MPG on Jeep Wrangler11 Mar 2008 06:18 GMT32
What kind of mileage are you guys that have a wrangler seeing? I'm
considering selling the F350 since I am no longer living in the country
and no longer have a call for it. I'm thinking of replacing it with a
4cyl or 4.0L 6 cyl wrangler depending on mileage reports.
