I have a 98 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4, about 2 weeks ago my I loaned it out and
they ran it out of gas.  Now it won't stay running after it warms up.  If
you start it and its cold, it will hold the idle right at 600 RPMs.  Once it
warms up and you are driving it when you put your foot ...
heavy bumpers - 2008 cummins/ram30 Apr 2008 14:34 GMT7
do the 2008 rams suffer the same shortened front end life from heavy bumpers
that previous models did, or was the front end beefed up to support the
weight of the 6.7?

Proper metod to troubleshoot AC system for 01 Dodge 2500 36030 Apr 2008 07:39 GMT3
The other day I noticed no more cool air, the compressor clutch was
not engaging at all. I purchased a refill system from walmart.  I
filled with refrigerant to proper gauge level, now the compressor
clutch engages for about 3 seconds and stops, but still not cooling.

Hey all,
I just picked up an '84 W150 with 360K miles on it.  She needs a
carb rebuild but other than that she is in great shape.  There is
almost no rust on it.  Just 3 or 4 surface spots.  I do need to bang
Fuel economy on 01 Cummins28 Apr 2008 04:41 GMT7
I have a friend who owns an 01 3500 w/ Cummins that is asking how he can get
better fuel mileage. He currently gets about 13mpg. The truck is an AT w/
4.10 gearing. Since my 00 gets 19.5mpg or so, I'm not much help in solving
the MPG problem, since I don't have it.

I have read different statements on what model years/engines of
Durangos can run flex fuel. Can this group shed some light on it? My
local gas station just started selling E85 for $2.899 versus $3.579...
Thanks,

Just got my oil changed for the last time here in Oz - last time it was
mixed in with other services, so I don't remember.
It's cost me the equivalent of over $70!  For regular oil!
Please tell me it's not going to be that expensive for a simple oil

Tom,
What is your best guess as the cause for a Low Voltage fault for the fuel
lift pump? That's all I know at the moment.

88 dakota tranny prob21 Apr 2008 23:05 GMT3
I have a 88 dodge dakota with the automatic tranny without OD. First
gear lags sometimes and takes a little too long to accelerate and shift
into second gear but once it shifts, all the other gears are fine. I've
changed the filter and gasket in hopes that this would fix the problem
