humming noise31 Jul 2008 02:09 GMT2
2004.5 Cummins TD 6spd.
I have a noise I cannot pin down. When I decelerate, I get a noise that sounds similar to a tire running over gouged asphalt. A kind of low grade hum. It only seems to happen when I let off the accelerator. Any ideas

2000 Dodge 2500 Cummins... First I got an airbag light, then lI ost

I'm looking for a few upgrades for my 04 Dakota 3.7 liter v6 magnum engine.

I did a code test on my 97 Dakota P/U that has a 3.9 and it says lean
burn on the left bank . Im not sure exactly what that means . I was
"told" it means the 1st Oxygen sensor , is that correct? The problem is
the fuel mileage has went from 19 hwy to 10 hwy . I replaced the plugs
3500 Clutch problem28 Jul 2008 05:14 GMT1
I have a 2007 Dodge Ram with a standard shift and haul a 16000 pound
5th wheel.  The problem is backing up with the rig.  In order to inch
slowly backwards when getting into a tight spot (specially if there's
any uphill involved) it's necessary to ride the clutch in order to
She's Home -and, OT, GPS power question27 Jul 2008 18:54 GMT9
Oh, finally.  Regulars may remember I was in the land of Oz not long
ago.  Well, I'm back in the good ol US of A, and finally so is my 2001
Dakota.  Oddly, I missed the old truck.  It's got a few more scratches,
but hopefully most of 'em will wax out.
wobble in steering wheel - RAM 250026 Jul 2008 21:49 GMT1
A friend has a '98 2500 RAM Turbodiesel... the steering wheel has always had
a little wobble, but lately it's gotten pretty severe! The truck steers OK,
and the wobble seems to be isolated to the mechanism just beneath the
steering wheel itself. We pulled it this morning and ...

Clockspring on 2000 Ram 250025 Jul 2008 01:55 GMT2
My airbag light first started coming on during left hand turns, now it
is on full-time.  Also have lost cruise control.  So based on research
here, I'm suspecting bad clock spring.
Looking at this link (2001 TSB) http://dodgeram.info/tsb/recalls/982.htm
Very hot A/C24 Jul 2008 12:05 GMT12
Seems one of the sensors in my ac/heater/fan unit don't want to work right.
After any amount of time, it blows very hot air.  If I turn the fan down to
low, it will start blowing cold again.  Could it be the hot/cold vent door?
(Forgot the name of it).  The fan works fine.  The ...

I have an 07 Ram 1500 Hemi. Laramie Edition. If I'm at a stand still
on a hill, transmission in park and I let off the brake, a clattering
type noise vibrates through the brake pedal. I don't know where the
noise is coming from, that's just where I feel it.
How hard to put a 96 5.2 into my carbed 87 318 truck?23 Jul 2008 01:00 GMT3
I have an 87 W100 pickup with a carb and would like to get fuel
injection.  I can get a 96 van with a 5.2 that runs great for next to
nothing.  How hard to change everything over?  Will the engine mate up
with my tranny/transfer case? or what's the chances of the new tranny
Anyone know anything about the Mopar REE Navigation stereo???21 Jul 2008 15:39 GMT12
Diesel prices have made me stop using the truck for daily commutes and
city driving.  So I got a PT Cruiser for such.
I'd like to put a Nav. unit in but have factory Sirius, UConnect, EVIC
display etc.  Talked to one dealer who said the Mopar REE is specified
