| Steering wheel gook | 30 Sep 2008 23:35 GMT | 4 |
My steering wheel has two years of gook on it now. Some of it is from me and my dirty hands. Most of it is from my wife and her danged lotion. I'm driving, and she asks, "Honey, do you want some lotion, too?", as she slathers herself with lotion.

| OBDs | 30 Sep 2008 05:09 GMT | 8 |
How do I get my OBDs to show on my panel lights. Turning on and off the ignition has been discussed, but I'm not sure. And when I do get the readings, where do I go to read about how to interpret them? I know they become looser as the vehicle ages on turning loose these ...

| What kind of mpg do you get? | 30 Sep 2008 02:50 GMT | 20 |
I have a 06 Dodge 2500 4wd short bed with Cummins turbo. My mpg was showing to be around 16 on the overhead display on a 200 mile trip. On the return, gaining 1700' elevation over the 200 miles, it dropped to 15.5 or so. Then I figured miles on odometer divided by gallons over ...

| Reason Why a turn signal inficator would stay on? | 29 Sep 2008 14:15 GMT | 15 |
The right side is constantly lit, when the key is in ON position. I did change out some bulbs, then it started working fine, but today the light stays on the whole time even when the switch is not in the position of the afflicted one. When you put the switch in the position for the ...

| I have a Odd question regarding my 2005 Durango SLT | 27 Sep 2008 18:02 GMT | 11 |
As weird as this question is going to sound, I have to ask just the same as it's quite important. "How FAR can a 2005 Durango travel with NO OIL in the Transfer Case ? I asked a local mechanic and he said it wouldn't go very far at all

| Best shop manual, 2004 (2500 Ram)? | 25 Sep 2008 18:58 GMT | 8 |
OK, what's the best shop manual for the 2500 (mine is a 2004)? It is reaching the stage where I'm going to have to do some maintenance on it and a good book is always nice to have on hand!

| Is Chrysler forcing Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep dealers to merge? | 25 Sep 2008 15:22 GMT | 8 |
Just got word from my dealer that they have been told they must buy out the nearby Chrysler dealer or sell to them. The two dealerships are about 1 mile apart. My dealer stated they don't have the cash to buy the Chrysler/Jeep dealer out so they are selling.

| Don't we just love aging trucks? | 23 Sep 2008 19:11 GMT | 2 |
My poor Dak is slowly falling to pieces :) Not really, but I do have two new questions, completely unrelated, but I don't want to overburden the ng with too many posts: 1. When I turn on the truck, as it starts up, it gives a single "ding",

| Proper low beam pattern? | 23 Sep 2008 01:13 GMT | 4 |
2001 Dakota, 4x4 I've suspected it's been off since the beams were adjusted (it returned from overseas, where they drive on the "wrong" side of the road). This morning, heavy fog, I could hardly see: My low beams meet at a point

| AC Leak | 22 Sep 2008 22:04 GMT | 6 |
I've emptied the first 120z can of R134a into my truck's AC via the low-pressure point and it's still not even up to 25psi. Is it possible the low-pressure valve is actually the leak? I noted at one point when I took the hose off, dye bubbled up around the valve pin.
