1998 quad cab 4x4 half ton 5.9 ltr.128560 miles
Hello have had this issue for some months now,have had it gone over by
several machanics,still no one can find the problem.
When coming to a stop, at the point of stopping,at rest , I get a loud

Morning all!
After having run without any issues all season, I found my A/C compressor
will not engage when I tried using it yesterday.
I checked the fuse and even tried swapping in a known good relay, no luck. I

I have a 97 Dakota extended cab with the 6 speaker am/fm cd. The large
bottom speaker in the passenger door has started making noise and appears to
need replacement. How difficult is removing the door panel and does it
require any special tools or secrets?

this past weekend i bought yet another '01.5 3500.  overall its a GREAT
truck but there are several issues that im having and i hope to get some
feedback from you guys.

my front differential is grinding when engaged, and ive found its an issue
of pinion bearings (i can grab the front drive shaft and wiggle it around a
little).  i had originally intended to rebuild the entire front end (gotta
remove the ring gear to access the inside pinion ...

I just did something to my ole truck that I just don't really like. I
guess I'm getting lazy in my old age... Stuff it Roy.... <G>   I
always <untill now> dropped the transmission pan and replaced the
filter, fluid and gasket. I like to see if there are any sparklies

Hi, my Dad is looking to buy a pickup, maybe a 2008 or so, he wants to
be able to comfortably tow a medium sized camping trailer behind him.
Pls make some general suggestions regarding make and model.  He is
thinking 1/2 ton with about a 4.8 liter engine but I don't know.

I recently saw some ads by the EPA to encourage people to buy diesel powered
vehicles to save zillions of gallons of barrels of oil each year.
However, looking at the CARS program, if one trades in their old diesel
truck, 3/4 or 1 ton, you cannot get another diesel of the same ...

I have a 2004 Durango (Hemi).  The front air blows at 54 F and this
week the rear air started blowing warm.  Is there a fuse for the rear
cooler?  I don't understand how this system works, so my questions
probabaly don't make sense.  But why would the front be cold and the

I have front damage to my Dakota due to an accident. The radiator and
air conditioner coil were damaged. I have removed the radiator and air
cond coil. The plastic frame for the air coil was shattered. I want to
replace the radiator with a new one but am leaving the air cond coil ...

i recently picked up another 2001.5 cummins 4x4, this one a standard cab 10'
flatbed 3500 dually with a 6 speed manual with 135,000 miles on it.  i didnt
really need the truck, but $6000 was a deal i couldnt walk away from.  its
drives VERY well.
