Plow lights29 Oct 2009 14:05 GMT10
I'm wiring a new set of plow lights on my truck.  The original lights had a
set of plug that spliced into the back of the headlights and had an
automatic switch that swapped the lights.  The new lights are going to have
a manual switch on the dash.  The directions for the kit  ...
Dodge Dakota fule fittings26 Oct 2009 23:41 GMT-
I'm troubleshooting a 1997 Dodge Dakota with a 3.9L/V6 with fuel
injection.  I see that the fuel pressure doesn't hold at all, but I'm
trying to make up an adaptor for my test guage to I can check and see
if it leaks pressure at the engine end or the fuel tank end.  The

Twitchy steering?  00 dakota...16 Oct 2009 02:23 GMT16
I have a question...
Is it just something about the geometry of the front end of the dodges in

it was an 02) full size 4door Hemi, it was the same way, if you sneeze
Crap, not again!13 Oct 2009 17:18 GMT4
Well, front axle U-joints. New Hubs. New brakes. 46K miles.
Seems now the drive shaft U joints are going!
Virtually all my failures are due to non-servicable items, where you
cannot lubricate things. To save a ten cent zerk fitting, I'm spending

Have a deal on a used truck that will work just right but for one problem,
The previous owner was a smoker and the smell is a deal killer. Is there
anyway to remove the odor??

Truck cap and Line-X07 Oct 2009 19:50 GMT7
I'm looking at adding a cap to my Dakota.  I visited the nearby ARE cap
dealer today, he seemed pretty up front.  He mentioned that because of
the Line-X liner my truck has, that it's "impossible" to ensure a good
seal between the cap and the bed rail.  He adds some silicon to ...
Which Gas Cap?07 Oct 2009 19:15 GMT1
I have a 99 Ram 1500 Laramie SLT Quad cab with a short bed and a 5.2L 318 Magnum V8. I want to get a locking gas cap for it but I don't know if I need a vented or unvented gas cap for it. Which one do I get, and what difference does it make? Thank you for your time.

Odd feel in gas pedal06 Oct 2009 23:20 GMT4
2001 Dodge Dakota, 4x4, v8.
While driving back from the place that sells truck caps, I finally
quantified a feeling I sometimes get in my gas pedal.
At about 61mph to something over 65 but under 70mph, there's this
Here's a question for the old timers.06 Oct 2009 00:34 GMT23
Some of you may remember a guy called DD. Ring a bell with any of you?
Now those who remember Deranged Dragon, do you recall who had the program
that ferreted out his home address? Or the name of the program?
Reason I'm asking is on another forum folks don't think that it is ...
